When Michelle Obama welcomed some of the nation's top chefs to the White House on Friday, she used the opportunity to showcase not one, but two festive tops. She rocked an '80s-inspired t-shirt (designer info to follow) to address Tom Colicchio, Cat Cora, Rachael Ray and other culinary celebrities. When it was time to work up a sweat in the garden, the first lady changed into an old favorite: a sleeveless Lanvin top. Which do you like best?
Hey, I’m just pleased she wore anything ‘80’s inspired. Maybe some of the ideology and accopmlishments of the ‘80’s President will somehow rub off onto her. A gal’s gotta dream in these dark times.
I wear Chanel to do my gardening.
Dinah, Dinah, Dinah...silly, silly FReeper. Lanvin? To garden?
Only (sniffs) Prada will do.
Or in Me!Chelle’s case, Pravda.
What is wrong with these people?
C’mon!!!
Where’a the empathy?! She’s obviously new to this; give her time to figure it out.
You’ll know she has when she stops.
;^)
Hey, I am just glad she has a top on!

“Or I wear nothing at all.”
The hypocrisy of these two is revolting. I’ve never seen her wear the same thing twice. She’s obviously not buying all these designer duds with their money, so the clothes must be gifts from the designers, or from other peddlers of influence. Isn’t there some kind of law that says federal employees may not accept gifts worth more than a certain amount?
I cook fried chicken in ny sleveless Lanvin tops.
Usage police. There are two options, so it should read "Which do you like better"?
Germane to this thread, though, unfortunately for me the answer is 'neither'.
Cheers!
Oy! My poor neighbors
