Turkish PM describes Hamas as fighting for own lands
Hürriyet ^ | 6/4/2010

Posted on 06/04/2010 7:52:50 AM PDT by markomalley

While continuing his harsh accusations against Israel over its deadly raid on an aid flotilla, the Turkish prime minister said he does not see Hamas as a terrorist organization, but as a resisting group struggling for its own land.

“They [Hamas] won the election. You are always talking about democracy. You’ll never let Hamas rule. What kind of democracy is this?” Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Friday at a rally held in Konya, a central Anatolian province. He addressed thousands of people gathered at the rally with very strong anti-Israel sentiments.

“I do not think that Hamas is a terrorist organization. I said the same thing to the United States. I am still of the same opinion. They are Palestinians in resistance, fighting for their own land,” he stated. Hamas is recognized as a terrorist organization by the U.S.

Criticizing the Turkish media for its critical coverage on Turkey’s pro-Hamas stance, Erdoğan said, “These columnists will report my words of today as well. We know their past, their background.”

Repeating his harsh words against the Israeli government over Monday’s incident, the prime minister recalled that one of the orders of the Ten Commandments prohibits Jews from killing. “If you do not understand it in Turkish I will say it in English: You shall not kill,” he said. He also said the same phrase in Hebrew.

“They even slaughtered 19-year-old Furkan. They did not even care for the babies in the cradle,” Erdoğan said.

He was a fanatic trained in martial arts who attacked an armed soldier. Not a baby.

And as for the expression: "Thou shalt not kill". The Turks need to carve that on the tombstones of all the Armenians they slaughtered in cold blood.

Really? So, it would be okay to help the Kurds fight for land in Turkey, then?

a resisting group struggling for its own land.

So, Mr. PM, it wasn't a "humanitarian mission", was it?

Evidently, this POS has decided Turkey would be better off as another Middle Eastern hellhole instead of a European country. Do the Turkish people agree???

What about the Kurds the Turks are slaughtering today? Turkey should also be preaching its “Thou shalt not kill” message to the Hamas militants who are firing rockets into Israel.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a radical, islamist muslim Turk. He—and most of the rest of the muslim Turks—are now showing their true face!!!!

He made these remarks in the “Province of Konya”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konya_Province,_Ottoman_Empire

Recognize any of these names? Try the Book of the Acts of the Apostles! Everywhere that Erdogan stands is stolen Christian land! Not only did the muslim Turk dimmify and tax, murder, rape, enslave, and expel the original Orthodox Christian inhabitants of Asia Minor, but the muslim Turk still holds our Ecumenical Patriarchate a virtual prisoner today.

The radical muslim Turk Erdogan DARES to lecture Israel and us on international law and morality, and to call the radical islamist terrorist group Hamas a “legitimate resistance movement”! He should look at the stolen land under his feet, and thank God that He doesn’t make that land open up and swallow him whole!!!!

And throw in avenging some Armenians and forcing the Turks to compensate their decedents for the massacre would be nice too.

I don't think the Turkish people thought they were getting a pro-Hamas, pro-terrorist guy who wants to upset Turkey's traditional alliances and secular society for the likes of Iran. We'll see . . . .

Erdogan was a member of Fazilet Partisi, an Islamist party that was banned for violating the secular clauses of the Turkish constitution. Since the Turkish people keep on voting for the same Islamists, they bought it and they own it.

They are doing precisely to Israel what they did to the Serbs, even recycling Judge Goldstone to do it.

You and I both know that to Muslims "Peaceful" means "Aggressive" and "Humanitarian" means "anti-human", because we've seen this before. Someone else apparently also recognizes the irony of this Orwellian nightmare.

What's your point? Sometimes voters do dumb things. America, still essentially a center-right country, elected a leftist radical President.

I’ll take from the good Dr. I heard Dr. Savage say one time that a better translation is that “Thou shall not murder.”

Which made alot of sense to me considering not only what God has done to people through the ages but also the battles involving the Jews and even the killing that individuals did like David when he killed Goliath. If God didn’t favor self defense that story would of ended with David complimenting Goliath on his giant muscles and then Goliath shaking David’s hand before going back home peacefully.
