Wouldn't the FBI have a copy of this on THEIR website????
Don't they also have a Press Releases webpage, too? I wonder why this is filled with errors???

The dead girl's father is a famous Peruvian race car driver and a national hero of sorts.
This scum Vander Sloot is going to rot in Peru, I hope.

I like to see this spoiled POS rot in a Purvian jail for the rest of his life.Freudian slip?

Let’s imagine that you were still stupid and naive...as this Dutch kid tends to suggest...and think that nothing will ever happen to you again. So you’ve got the Holloway family and associates angry but not able to accomplish anything via lawful means. So they sit and watch you...and know your habits...and eventually know that you travel to places where no Dutch jurisdiction will apply. And perhaps...their anger is such...that they can see retribution in a fashion that most of us wouldn’t cross a line in doing. And va der Sloot awakens from some drug episode, to find a dead body in his room...and the necessity to escape as soon as possible.
I’m not suggesting this occurred...but some parts of this story leave you with suspicions. And Peru...isn’t exactly the place you want to be tried for any murder. He’ll never see the light of day...and he’ll never be able to pay anyone off...so he’s got the rest of his life (ever how short) to think about what he may or may not have done with either girl.

I was thinking the same thing.

Your theory is plausible but the missing girl in Peru came from a good, established family from what I read. But I also read that she knew who Van der Sloot was and all about his background which makes it amazing to me that she would be in his company with anyone other than a platoon of heavily armed cops. But then again, I’m always amazed at the number of decent-appearing women who want to marry unrepetant criminals with a life prison sentence like the Menendez brothers.

If both of these were his handiwork, there are probably other girls who have also disappeared, but were not important enough to generate international publicity. A reporter recorded him offering to provide girls for prostitution.

Anyone curious as to how life in a Peruvian jail is? Rent a copy of “Midnight Express” and watch it. Story about a young boy who is imprisoned and what he has to go through.
There is a God, God does punish sinners, however he does it in his time, which, unfortunately does not coincide with our time. This time we get to see God's punishment.
To: laconic
I don't think those were the only ones. They were just he ones he got connected to. If he comes to trial watch him offer to give info on other killings in an attempt to plea bargain.

Probably close, but that movie depicted a Turkish prison.

Yep. I would start looking at where he was when girls started dying or disappearing.

And it was Beth Holloway who was being extorted & gave him the $15,000 so he could afford Peru..What a mess.

AP needs to send its copyboys over to this news outlet to learn some writin' skills. The AP story posted earlier had van der Sloot paying the $250,000.
