Crist says he’s ‘lonely’ out on campaign trail as an Independent (crocodile tears for poor Charlie)

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist says it is very lonely running as an Independent.
Since he quit his party, Crist says he has discovered that people he thought were friends turned out to be only Republican friends who dropped Crist after he left the GOP.
Crist has lost so many campaign staffers that his sister is now running his third-party effort.
When youre not affiliated with a party, it can be very lonely, particularly initially, Crist told The Hill in an hourlong phone interview.
Still, he insists he has no regrets about his decision, and offered criticism for the GOP activists who took a stand against him after he supported President Barack Obamas economic stimulus package.
It just became increasingly apparent to me that a segment of the party was drifting so far to the right that it just wasnt a place where I felt comfortable anymore, Crist said.

Suck it buttercup. Your “manly” display of independence will be reviewed in history along side those of Ross Perot and Dennis Kucinich. Rock on soldier.

If you’re so lonely Charlie, then go home and spend some time with your domestic partner.

Idea - don’t run as an independent.
Run as a dim-bulb-crat progressive.

Crist wont say which party he will caucus with in the Senate, if he is elected. There is only one reason for Mister Crist to be so coy. If elected, he fully intends to caucus with his clandestine DEMOCRAT allies.
He would leap out of that closet on election day night.
(Note ye well, Floridian FRiends.)

Losers usually are.
Crist complains that his “friends” care more about the Republican party than about him. (”Me me me!”)
But I think Crist is the one who betrayed the Republicans.

Off topic, but has anyone heard any news of Byrd’s health lately...if he is called to meet his maker, it would be an open seat this fall, and the GOP would probably pick it up..
