New IDF footage shows attacks before soldiers boarded 'Mavi Marmara.'
The IDF Spokesperson's office on Wednesday afternoon released more new footage of Gaza flotilla activists attacking soldiers with a stun grenade, a box of plates, and water hoses.
The video was taken before the soldiers boarded the Mavi Marmara in Monday's raid.
Also in this video, activists can be seen waving metal rods and chains, which were later used to attack soldiers.
Earlier Wednesday, the IDF Spokespersons Office on Wednesday released new footage showing Monday's bloody raid of the Mavi Marmara ship.
Several voices belonging to Navy commandos are heard in the most recently released IDF video.

Running a blockade, threatening soldiers with clubs and throwing stun gernades at the soldiers .... what could possibly go wrong?
Well unfortunately Israel has boarded them in international waters so it´s pretty irrelevant if or how they did attack
the IDF. This fact will not go away no matter how hard they try. It would be a total different story if they had waited untill they reached teritorial waters.
But they did not so sorry they screwed it up this time.
Doesn’t seem to matter. If they’re headed to Gaza, which is governed separately from Israel, who’s territorial waters would they have entered?
Yep this would have been their next problem... (since the UN doesn´t recognize the blocade. But still it would have been a lot better if they would have waited longer (at least untill they reach the blocade).
Because right now raiding a ship in international waters is called piracy under the law of sea (and there for the crew is allowed to defend themseles with all means). Because as long as they are not entering teritorial waters or at least the line of blocade they are just civillians who cruise for “fun” in international waters.
I thought so too, but you can legally stop a ship that clearly intends to run a blockade even if it’s in International waters at the time.
See also: Cuban blockade.
The whole thing was set up for propaganda purposes and Israel obligingly took the bait. They sailed in a ship filled with harmless cargo. The wheel chairs and baby toys were a nice touch.
Bizarre.
The second issue is whether it is lawful to enforce a legal blockade in international waters. Again, law and practice are clear. If there is no doubt that the offending ships have made a firm determination to break the blockade, then the blockade may be enforced before the offending ships cross the line into domestic waters. Again the United States and other western countries have frequently boarded ships at high sea in order to assure their security.
The US Coast Guard boards ships/Boats all the time in International Waters.. Ya think they would not open fire if attacked or fired upon ?????
Saw on tv this morning the “activist” basically saying that Israel has rules he doesn’t like so he is going to shove his way past Israel’s security and provoke a fight. They did and they took a beating for it.
They wanted to intercept the ships at night to minimize violence.
