All 680 activists will be released, including two dozen Israel had threatened to prosecute on charges of assaulting troops.
Israel will immediately deport hundreds of foreign activists seized aboard a six-ship humanitarian aid flotilla seized in an Israel Navy raid en route to the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided late Tuesday.
In the face of mounting world criticism of Monday's assault, Israeli officials said all 680 activists held would be released, including two dozen Israel had threatened earlier to prosecute charging they had assaulted its troops.

What planet do they deport Cynthia McKinney to?
I’d lock ‘em up. They broke the law. No deportation, just a cell.
Now, they will just be back on another ship or another attempt to violate Israel. If there are no consequences, there will be more of the same.
Nice list of new enemies:
Israel gave the following breakdown of countries and numbers of those activists ordered expelled, excluding the nine killed and the seriously wounded in Monday’s raid:
Australia 3; Azerbaijan 2; Italy 6; Indonesia 12; Ireland 9; Algeria 28; United States 11; Bulgaria 2; Bosnia 1; Bahrain 4; Belgium 5; Germany 11; South Africa 1; Holland 2; United Kingdom 31; Greece 38; Jordan 30; Kuwait 15; Lebanon 3; Mauritania 3; Malaysia 11; Egypt 3; Macedonia 3; Morocco 7; Norway 3; New Zealand 1; Syria 3; Serbia 1; Oman 1; Pakistan 3; Czech Republic 4; France 9; Kosovo 1; Canada 1; Sweden 11; Turkey 380; Yemen 4.
Now that's leadership!
“What planet do they deport Cynthia McKinney to?”
It hasn’t been found yet, because Voyager hasn’t reported back. I say strap her in the next mission to the outer reaches and let her be another woman in space.
There we are...on the list.
Uranus would make most sense.
They are going to release those who murdered their soldiers?
No soldiers were murdered only the civilians.
Israel should never deport them. They attacked Israel. Show no weakness towards the terrorists.
So, the Israeli soldier thrown over didn’t die? Must be in very bad shape then...
“What planet do they deport Cynthia McKinney?”
I was thinking we could use her to plug the BP oil leak.
Good idea. Lets us deport all the La Raza members!
As I suggested on another thread -
Israel oughtta put them all on a ship, and transport them to the Straits of Gibraltar - and let ‘em walk home from there....
>No soldiers were murdered only the civilians.
The civilians were not murdered either. They were repelled with legal, lethal force. I do not know
why Israel is letting the criminals that attacked their soldiers
go free, but they should be locked up for attempted murder.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the wounded soldiers from the 'Shayetet 13' Naval Commando Unit Tuesday. The soldiers were admitted to Rambam Hospital in Haifa Monday after suffering injuries from a violent mob while gaining control of the Turkish-sponsored terror-sympathizers' flotilla.
Netanyahu cut short a North American tour and canceled a meeting with United States President Barack Obama in order to return to Israel after the bloody maritime incident. Once his plane landed in Israel after the 12 hour return flight, Netanyahu's motorcade headed directly for Tel HaShomer Hospital where the wounded soldiers are being treated.
Netanyahu encouraged the soldiers and their families, saying: This ship was not carrying people of peace. You are heroes and it is your courageous and single-minded action that saved your friends.
