It seems like I couldn’t despise them more than I do right now

I understand. But, as soon as I think they have sunk as low as it gets they suprise me and sink to even lower levels and so goes my utter disgust. This putrid aministration has to be hanked to a halt in November and demolished in 2012! bottom line!

Correct. They will attempt to deflect all negative political fallout by agressively threatening BP.

They know big trouble looms in November, they have to contain this, by litigation and bellicose rhetoric to play to the moonbat base.

Problem - Moonbat base can't save them in Nov if Independents continue to flee.

Looks like they are. The report from the Coast Guard Admiral earlier was that they had quit trying to put the new head on it. I wish we could post the story but it’s Bloomberg.

Has BP gotten any chunks of this operation to the surface? Do they have anything physical and tangible to research?

Amazingly Obama and Holder think that you can solve engineering problems by throwing more lawyers on.

It would be funny if it weren’t so sad, wouldn’t it?

Elections have consequences and the appointments that are made have even more reaching consequences. Dumb, Dumber and the Dumbest are in power, with tweedle dee, tweedle dum and tweedle dummer as some of the appointees. So now BP will walk away and let the brightest scientists in America that the Dumbest person can find. Sounds like the same administration is now after Ford regarding a problem with the gas pedals because 3 cars have had problems. Lets see destroy GM, Chrysler, Wall Street, toyota, health care industry, BP and Ford. Gee Obozo is having a good year of ruining everything that everyone knows. whats next tires, bicycles, motorcycles, toilets, drinks. 400% increase on gasoline to pay for the clean up. Come Nov2, 2010. the only incumbents will be those who do not have 2010 as an the year of there deselection.

As usual, mixed messages.

UPDATE II: BP spokesperson John Curry denied reports of any problems with the Lower Marine Rise Package, which begins drilling today.

Reports that BP had canceled all rescue plans were based on a headline from Bloomberg: Efforts to End Oil Flow From BP’s Leaking Well Are Over, Coast Guard Says. While BP is ending efforts to halt the flow, it will continuing efforts to capture the flow.

Read more: http://www.businessinsider.com/disaster-bp-already-aborts-plan-to-attach-second-blowout-preventer-2010-6#ixzz0pdCHWdP2

Stop trying stop flow does not equal stopping all relief operations. Just that they aren’t going to try to top kill anymore, and have apparently decided not to try stopping flow w/ a second BOP.

Efforts will continue to capture as much oil as possible (LRMP ‘hat’).

You don’t drill w/ an LRMP...you drill with a drillship, semi-sub, jack-up, or other drilling rig.

What started today were operations on the LRMP.....

Just a writer who doesn’t understand what’s going on

If they were stuffing them down the hole, it might.

I have no respect for any of these Idiots,You fix the problem then point fingers and then do the girlie you did it. We have no leadership and the office of president has been empty since the end of 2008.

This is the most stupid Justice Dept. in my memory!

Black Panthers with night sticks outside a voting location...they found nothing there.

They could have at least waited until they get done with Gov. Brewer and AZ before they go after BP.

They’re “multi-tasking” when it comes to going after their enemies using the resources of the State.

Well, then, it's definitely worth a try ~ so what say we start rounding them up. Take our SUVs to their homes and load them on board for an overnight drive down to the Gulf.

Take those suckers out and try stuffing them down the hole until it stops.

Fairfax County VA has over 184,000 lawyers by itself ~ I guarantee we can afford to GIVE TIL IT HURTS!

Terrific, This administration hates all businesses, all successful people, anyone left with a job, Bush, Israel, cops etc... We get it but shouldn't we fix the leak first
