And oh Obama, we do know all the facts. Your response at the presser didn’t fool anyone.
Looks like the oil problem is his highest priority. So what?
He’s just doing what he knows. Voting present and agitating. Hopey changey.
He’s busy plugging holes, dammit.
He's done the best thing possible, as best as he can: shut up and stay away.
“He’s done the best thing possible, as best as he can: shut up and stay away.”
Which I would normally agree with, except that now that it looks like BP might actually have gotten it capped, he’s going to show up and act like he did it all himself.
He’s such a whore.
I love it when he says “we will not rest until.....” and then heads to the golf course/basketball court. Such a liar.
Lots of stand up comedy at various events too. The boy is a real comedian.
Like I said: "as best as he can". We all knew he couldn't stay away, if there's a limelight somewhere.
Hey, lay off the guy. His party hired him to be their rubber stamp and give speeches and throw parties. “Now go away, I have another party to go to in Chicago. Memorial Day? What’s that?”.
From his first trip to the gulf;
“So I want to emphasize, from day one we have prepared and planned for the worst, even as we hoped for the best. And while we have prepared and reacted aggressively, I’m not going to rest — and none of the gentlemen and women who are here are going to rest — or be satisfied until the leak is stopped at the source, the oil on the Gulf is contained and cleaned up, and the people of this region are able to go back to their lives and their livelihoods.”

BP oil leak: Fallen Deepwater Horizon was tapping second largest oil deposit in the world
If there is a single aspect to the dangers of the BP oil leak,
it lies in the question CEO Tony Hayward and other BP executives
have been avoiding since the first drop of oil went rogue: How much oil is leaking?
The real answer is - more than anyone wants to admit,
because the well holds enough oil to make Saudi Arabian drillers jealous."
2) Pres_ _ent Obama exempts BP from normal requirements ......... check
Gulf oil spill: BP has a long record of legal, ethical violations
. BP's actions are facing unprecedented scrutiny, thanks to a years-long history of legal
and ethical violations that critics, judges and members of Congress say shows that the
London-based company has a penchant for putting profits ahead of just about everything else.
Over the past two decades, BP subsidiaries have been convicted three times of
environmental crimes in Alaska and Texas, including two felonies. It remains on
probation for two of them. "
Workers on doomed BP oil rig: Corners were cut to save money
Two workers injured when an oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico told Congress on
Thursday that the companies in charge of the doomed drilling operation cut corners and
neglected maintenance in a race toward higher profits.
MMS official Jason Mathews, one of the panelists who questioned Harrell, noted that the
project was several weeks behind schedule, a delay that had cost more than $20 million at
a daily rate of $525,000."
Federal Regulator Repeatedly Failed to Inspect Deepwater Horizon Including for... Obama Presidency
ABC News has learned that in the 16 months from January 2009 through April 2010

He held a press conference yesterday and blamed Bush for the oil spill. What more could we expect Obama to do?
