As we've been reporting, Capone's Italian-American Restaurant in Peabody, MA has been threatened with loss of their operating license and an expensive lawsuit because the doorman turned away men wearing women's clothes (including short skirts).
Robert Knowles, a transgender activist from Saugus who wears women's clothes in public and who goes by the name of "Ashley Amber Bottoms", began bringing a group of cross-dressing men in women's clothes (who call themselves the "Sisters Group") to Capone's. Their presence caused so much disruption and discomfort to the restaurant's patrons that when the group came on Jan. 29, staff met them at the door and refused to let them in.
The next day the transgender activists filed complaints with the City of Peabody, the District Attorney, various licensing boards, and other public officials, according to news reports. Several news outlets covered the story, which was obviously orchestrated as a PR campaign.

Any FReeper within driving distance should go eat at this restaurant if at all possible. It’s so rare now that any business stands up to the liberal PC agenda, that the ones who do need to be vigorously supported.

I would station loyal customers in the parking lot with super soakers and then let them lose on the “girls”. Watch them scream as their make-up runs.

Didn't Rand Paul catch hell for saying the part of the Civil Rights legislation that deals with private business (whether they can deny entry to their establishments people they choose not to associate with) was something he was not happy with?
So now we gotta let freaks into our businesses because of Civil Rights legislation...
Yes I feel soooo much better now!
Slippery Slope people, we just went down it just a bit further.

Better to support the business which probably has the right to refuse service. Perverts such as these already look pathetic and silly enough without benefit of a soaking anyway.

He thinks if you're "open to the public" then you have to lose "some of" your right to dispose of your life (your time and your property) as you see fit. Of course, O'Reilly wouldn't know a principle -- or understand the dangers of the slipppery slope -- if they bit him in the a$$.

Make no mistake — this isn’t a group of six or eight weirdos playing a prank, these guys are just the front group for the latest episode of a long- and well-orchestrated campaign.
Getting these guys in the news for a couple of different news cycles in order to gin up “awareness” of the MA transgender bill is just the latest skirmish.

I remember signs in Restaurants when I was younger saying, “We have the right to refuse service to anyone”.
If you have a customer causing a disturbance and making other patrons uncomfortable, out the door he / she / it goes.
What's next, the Civil Rights Act protects customers with Body Odor who fart, belch and eat off other customer's plates?
