C'mon and take a break ! Walk on over to the water cooler and lets chat. Post your thoughts, opinions, news of the day, rantings, ravings, pontificates, hypothesis, hyperboles, your soap box cause, your mantra, your baggage, your garbage, your blogging, your secrets, whatever you feel would make talk around the water cooler real interesting!

A little humor....
The Restaurant
A group of 40 year old girlfriends discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally it was agreed upon that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because the waiters there had tight pants and nice buns.
10 years later at 50 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because the food there was very good and the wine selection was good also.
10 years later, at 60 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because they could eat there in peace and quiet and the restaurant had a beautiful view of the ocean.
10 years later, at 70 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because the restaurant was wheel chair accessible and they even had an elevator.
10 years later, at 80 years of age, the group once again discussed where they should meet for dinner. Finally it was agreed that they should meet at the Ocean View Restaurant because they had never been there before.

*Farmers Cheese*
Things You'll Need: 2 quarts Whole Milk 2 cups Buttermilk 1 tbsp. White Vinegar Salt Colander or Strainer Clean Cheesecloth Heavy Pot Large Pot or Bowl Storage Container with Lid
Put 2 quarts of milk in a large pot and bring it to 180 degrees over low heat, stirring frequently. (Use candy thermometer, this will take some time as to not scorch the milk)
Add 2 cups of buttermilk and stir, then add the vinegar and stir. Turn off the heat and stir slowly until the mixture starts to separate.
Let it sit for 10 minutes. Do not disturb the mixture during this time. While waiting, line a colander with at least two layers of rinsed cheesecloth.
Using a large spoon or ladle, put the curds (the solids) into the cheesecloth-lined colander. I added salt at this time.
Let the curds drain for at least an hour. Occasionally gather up the cheesecloth around the cheese to apply some pressure to the cheese to help it drain. You can also tie the cheese up in the cheesecloth to keep pressure on it.
Transfer the cheese to a storage container and store covered in the refrigerator for up to five days. This recipe yeilds about one pound of cheese.
I saw Anthony Bourdain have farmers cheese with honey on crackers & tried it....delish!
You can use this cheese in many applications, pierogies, crepes & anything you would use ricotta for.
Pressed & drained further it can be used on mexican food dishes as a queso fresco.
Mix it with 8 oz cream cheese, garlic & your favorite herbs to make boursin cheese.

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

He just got back a week ago. He works on the slope, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off.
He went down and spent time with the guy selling it. Went over it, got it out of the water, and made lists of stuff that needs to be done. He said they work on serious “island time”. I think he said it will be fall before he gets back down there.

I recall you like Israel KamakawiwoleYou recall right! He was a great one. I'd never heard of Aunty Genoa Keawe but she sounds like she was an interesting one. Now they're both gone. Very sad.
