Odumba’s pollster told him his numbers are dropping like a rock on illegal aliens and the stock market.

This is an attempt to reverse the downtrend.

Don’t forget also... our 100+ degree temps are just around the corner. Down south they may already be here. It’s a win-win for Obama: the number crossing the border will “drop” (as it always does in the summer) and the military folks positioned there will be in misery with absolutely nothing to do but sit and suffer in the heat.

If I was el Presidente Calderon, I’d be PISSED.

Just the other day, he was in the US being wined and dined by Obama and getting standing O’s by Congress. All the while blasting the evil Arizonans.

Now Bammie is sending troops to the border???

You mean Bammie two faced Calderon???

BWA-HAA-HAA-HAAA!!!!

With rumors of enhanced enforcement and a weak economy, many illegals are choosing to go home. I suspect these guys will be used to patrol our side of the border, and make sure they don't. “Sorry hombres, but when Amnesty arrives, we'll need to have as many on the Norte side of border as possible. Go over to the trailer park ICE is building over yonder — we don't expect the Republicans to filibuster for very long.”

....unfortunately, they’ll be rounding up and arresting people trying to enforce US immigration laws....

That's not totally accurate.

The National Guard will also be handing out water bottles, maps, census forms and voter registration cards.

From my observations the Texas National Guard, with some exceptions (like their awesome state competetive shooting team) is the “Army Mexicanos Del Norte.”

If you think that the Texas National Guard is not full of Patriots, whose ancestors came from all over, than you spent too much time training outdoors in Texas without your cover.

In WWII would you have sneered at the 36th Infantry, full of guys of German ancestry, as the Duetsche Heer vom Westen?

This is political artifice designed to give the illusion of enforcement.

Jorge Gush was vigorous on this issue compared to Soetoro, and NONE of his NG troops had weapons.

Bush’s NG troops were unarmed and under orders to RUN if they happened across armed drug smuggles or coyotes —it did happen, too; an armed group of Aztlan troops rolled up on our guys on US soil, and our guys DID run into the desert, per protocol.

THIS IS ALL LIES.

One side has the WILL to invade with meager means, while the other side has the means, and NO WILL.

[WH says Nat Guard will provide “intelligence; surveillance & reconnaissance support; immediate support to counternarcotics enforcement.”]

... as well as milk and cookies, maps, ACLU business cards, and Democrat Party voter registration cards to the newcomers.

> I thought Governors controlled the National Guard?

Normally, but this is more likely a way to ensure that the Illegal Aliens' Civil Rights aren't infringed upon by Arizona's new immigration laws. Obama can keep tabs on what's going on "down there" better if they're under his watchful eye.

The Federal government's got to be in charge of these things, you see ...

So it takes a 42% approval rating to act on the border issue. Who’d have thought?....

Enough so 0bamao can point to them and claim he’s tightened border security, but not enough to really stop anyone.

That nets to one soldier for every 1.64 miles of border. That should do the trick.

“That’s a good idea. With all the recent college grads are going to be unemployed send them to the border.”

I had a college kid approach me searching for work. He noticed my work truck and asked me if anyone was hiring. He said he wasn’t able to keep up with his tuition and wasn’t allowed to take his final exam.

This happened outside of a Goodwill store. I felt terrible for him.
