President Obama will NOT go to Arlington National Cemetary and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers on Memorial Day to honor fallen soldiers. Our president will remain in WH to "honor" former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney.

My Father is buried at Arlington Nat’l with “Master Sargeant, WWll, Korea, Vietnam” on his tombstone. He would say that it’s better to keep the kenyan away. His presence would be meaningless and an insult to all the brave men and women buried there.

And what about his removal of the National Day of Prayer breakfast at the White House? And, not going to any church (shameful--for the sake of his daughters mostly) on Sundays?

What we are seeing is the real Obama - the one we knew was there behind the hype and smoke screen. The one who is anti-American, not a Christian, and most certainly a very arrogent, self-pleasing, egotistical man...a sick narcissist...who has been played and used by his deep-pocket socialist friends. Yep, he is "The One."

Of course, we knew all of this, but every day Obama reveals more and more that shows his true agenda...and some of the people who never believed what we said, are seeing it now. It makes me so sick (and so sad) that people were gullible to believe the lies and forked-tongued speeches that put this man where he is.

I understand, but it just struck me as an odd request -- there seems to be some confusion, up thread someone else wrote that McCartney doing this shows he NOT an American -- erm, he's not.

I don't think it a requirement of the rest of the world that they recognize our historical events/celebrations, especially when so many of US don't -- Memorial Day has become just another excuse to party.

So he is going to a cemetery in Chicago. It still stinks, because it sends the message that a Memorial Day commemoration is something that he will attend in such a way as to cause minimal disruption to his vacation needs.

I suspect you're right! The song Imagine used to be one of my favorites when I was young and stupid - when I wasn't really paying attention to the lyrics. But that song is about some socialist (or worse) utopia. It is anti-religion, anti-capitalism, and anti-individualism.
