This, I'm told by the Fiorina campaign, was just reported on television on L.A. The last SurveyUSA poll showed Fiorina trailing Campbell 35% to 24%, with DeVore in third at 15%. So, if true, this new poll would represent a huge swing--such a huge swing that I'm curious to see the actual poll.

CA is a mess when it comes to electing conservatives statewide, but that doesn’t mean we throw-in the towel. “Ma’am” needs to be defeated!!!
We do fine in various congressional districts, but we’re outnumbered by democrat strongholds there too.
Now everyone is free to vote for Chuck DeVore without having to worry about “giving the nod to Campbell by not voting for Fiorina.”
Fiorina is pulling far ahead, right? Now everyone is free to vote their conscience!
So now there is no reason to fear voting for Chuck DeVore.
Well, I won’t be voting for Fiorina or Campbell.
They should join the Democrat party and be done with it.
It would seem to me that the Republican party would have a self interest in keeping the people who represent it in line.
I could register as a Republican even if I believed in Pro Choice, eliminating our military completely, expanding government programs by 200%, praised welfare, praised opening our borders completely, and a bunch of other leftist things, then lied about it, ran on a conservative platform, won, then ruled in accordance with my private views afterward.
And from what I’ve seen, the Republican party would be thrilled to have me. What the hell is up with that?
It seems that Fiorina supported Palin back some time ago.

How long has DeVore been running. A year?
He was third before Sarah and he’s third after. The only possible thing she could have done was maybe leap him into second place IF we are going to attribute this rise in support to Carly to her. Provided there is such a rise. This isn’t a polling firm I trust.
If he couldn’t even manage second before then either there aren’t that many conservative Republicans in California or he wasn’t a great candidate. I think it’s both.
I’m disappointed. Mainly because she was the establishment pick which means they’ll waste money trying to win another seat they’ll lose. With the other two I think they’d have sat it out. But I will acknowledge I see no hope of winning this race no matter who wins the primary. That’s why I prefer one of the other two win so resources can be best used elsewhere.
I certainly hope they continue to do so. In a constructive way.

LOL...thanks. I’ve seen that referenced in several places and was reminded of it again when Hugh Hewitt mentioned it in his remarks Saturday night in Denver with Dennis Prager and Sarah Palin.
