Republican Senate candidate Chuck DeVore said Friday that "the liberal media" had accused him of "a Blumenthal moment" a reference to Connecticut Atty. Gen. Richard Blumenthal's admission this week that he had misspoken about his military record in the Vietnam War era.
A Times report Friday said the Irvine assemblyman, who spent 24 years in the California Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve, mentioned during a March candidate debate that he was "shot at in Lebanon" without making it clear that the incident occurred in 1984 while he was a student and a reporter for the Orange County Register on a media tour.
Another journalist who was on the tour contradicted DeVore's statement that "the Syrians shot at us and kind of drove us off the hill."

Disgusting, and Palin should rescind her endorsement. Since she hasn't, I can only assume she endorses these smears on DeVore.
You would think the lame stream media is on the donks side.
Tricky Dick BlumenDodd certainly has set a standard for himself.

Does FR always have to overlook Tom Campbell...the worst candidate that also happens to be in the lead?
Good point
Tricky Dick BlumenDodd certainly has set a standard for himself.
“Tricky Dick?” How about just plain DICK
I have to agree. Campbell is the among the worst of the worst when it comes to RINOs. One thing in our favor is that more likely the true dehard Conservatives are going to be out to vote. I think that will give Devore and good shot at winning.
Sounds more like a Hillary moment than a Blumenthal moment.
That’s a pretty big leap, isn’t it?
Yea, that’s DMB leaping. Like Kelly Duvall when she jumps from rock cliff to rock cliff to get away from the bad guys and came up with the legendary phrase: “9 years of ballet, a$$hole!!” LOL
1 week a month...
Whoops, that quote is for Shelley Long in movie Outrageous Fortune. Sorry for the (my) confusion
It's never been disputed that DeVore made those comments....just posters that agree with that point of view. WTH????? Crazy!
Re #17:
Cna you tell me who was banned or provide a thread link? Anything that would be helpful would be appreciated

a lead given to him in a couple polls after polling lordy knows how many potheads and history professors .. oh wait, same difference. :-)
he hasn’t run any ads, just hunkered down in his shell.. he may run a few ads just to stay noticed.
Politics? I use that word loosely here for what we are witnessing here.. certainly not that much of a change, with him in there ,, we’ll see what pops out the primary chute.
Maybe we’ll we get a pleasant surprise for a change. one can only hope. :-)
I don't have link to the thread but it was over a week ago and it was a DeVore thread. She pointed out that DeVore's comment about Al Qaeda wasn't too far a view from Boxer's. She was called a "LIAR".
AFAIK, DeVore hasn't backed down from that statement...
