A Transportation Security Administration agent has been arrested for allegedly stealing $400 dollars from a wheelchair bound passenger as she passed through a security checkpoint at Newark Airport.
Leroy Ray allegedly went into the disabled woman's bag as it passed through the X-ray machine.
Ray was caught on surveillance video on February 3, 2010, reaching into the woman's bag to steal an envelope of cash, according to a criminal complaint.
The fiftyish year old woman, investigators said, was from North Jersey and was flying out of Newark to visit relatives overseas.

The TSA! A lot of government entities are huge jokes, but this one is an all time winner. Lazy, lard butts who can’t get a burger joint job picked up through affirmative action or bumped for incompetency from other agencies. This is what passes for ‘security’ in our nation’s airports!

Must be one of those rich, spoiled handicapped people, who didn’t want to do any work, and just wanted to sit in her wheelchair and take it easy like George warned us about.
The TSA people we’ve encountered at LAX were some of the most disgusting, rude, pompous, STUPID, fat, lazy, tyrannical, pieces of quasi-human trash I’ve ever seen. (Of course, I don’t mean that in a BAD way.) ;)
I expect the “qualifications” section in the Job Description is something like, “Must have pulse and an I.Q. not greater than 50.”
Especially if she was in the Cougar 9000, the Rolls Royce of wheelchairs... the one that almost makes you glad to be handicapped.

I’ve had some very helpful and polite TSA employees since 911. I always thank them and tell them how much I appreciate them helping to keep our country safe. Some have responded in shock and told me that I am the first to ever do so. The majority light up like Christmas trees after being thanked.
I suspect much of it is the area in which one flies.

Some airports used to sell them in Ebay at least until the press got ahold of the info. I do not doubt for a minute that some the “prime” confiscations end up in individual managers possession.

Another reason to disband them. They are crime syndicate. They did the same thing to my 78 year old father (who is a Korean War veteran) a couple of years ago.
He had envelopes with some cash he saved for his grandchildren in special cards that me made himself, and that he planned to give them on Christmas day.

There is probably going to be a tipping point in the future where many Americans will have had enough of being treated like a convicted felon, simply for attempting to fly on a commercial aircraft.
The argument that it is all done "for our safety" goes right out the window because they refuse to profile Islamic men between certain ages who are statistically off the charts when it comes to documented cases of terrorism.
They have no credibility whatsoever. In addition to that, TSA goons now wear cracker jack box "badges" - - which are pure fiction. The agents demanded them because they wanted a phony sense of authority. They are not law enforcement officers now, nor were they ever such.
I watched a show on FOX last year, where a former FBI agent said that almost everything that TSA puts us through does nothing to stop terrorism. The TSA will continue to play the fiddle of "security" for as long as the teat keeps feeding milk, but sooner or later the public is going to figure out that TSA is nothing more than a harassment squad.
not just thugs — they are illiterate thugs. The experience at LAX is so unpleasant that we’ve taken to flying out of Long Beach when we go to L.A.
