This disgusting excuse for a human being, 80 years old and still clawing desperately to stay in DC and keep riding the gravy train.
There's a spot in hell waiting for him, right next to Teddy Kennedy, Saddam Hussein, and Hussein Baraka Sr.

I was actually hoping Arlen would squeak through, he is easier to beat. Pat Toomey will now have his hands full against Sestak.
To: STARWISE
Woo hoo! only if Toomey can beat Sestak in the general. Sestak (whose sister I happen to know—she was my department’s business administrator when I was a grad student) is further left than Specter. I’d have expected Specter, even after giving up the name of Republican, to vote with us about 15% of the time. If PA puts in Sestak, it will be 0%.

You mean, The defender of Ira Einhorn, the murdering Radical Communist who killed his trusting girlfriend and hid her mummified corpse in a closet, and then jumped bail and fled to Europe, the RINO who stabbed his fellow Republicans in the back and then became a Dim when the party need him most? THAT arlen spector?

Bad news, IMHO. We needed Spectacle to run against Toomey—that was a winner. Now, not sure.

I thought I heard TV commentators (not sure if it was our local Pittsburgh stations or national) say that Toomey polls better against Sestak than Specter.

Yeah it feels sweet. But in terms of actually getting an R in the seat it’s a negative. Everytime a Rat incumbent quits, it gives them another chance to put someone who can fake their real intentions in the race.
