I was beginning to think there was hope with Ted Kennedy being dry and sober, how many days now?

Is that part about Kitty Dukakis and hair spray for real? I’ve never heard that one before.

Did she keep it on the road or is there some guy in her car underwater somewhere?

Hey, she’s Irish and a Masshole...and married to a defective Masshole (that’s one from whom the M departed). It’s her freakin’ birthright to drive drunk.

It’s mighty fine fun kicking Kennedys, even if they are only Kennedys by marriage.

I use Kennedy alcohol-related arrests as reminders to change the batteries my smoke-detectors, as it’s more reliable than Spring Forward/Fall Back.

If one needed an excuse to drink being married to that pompous jerk would be a good one.

You mean the apple doesn’t stagger far from the tree.

For the record, the limit was .15 when I was learning to drive in NY. It was lowered in stages to the current .08. (Soon you won't be able to drink orange juice in NY, and then get behind the wheel.) What matters is whether one can control a car or not. (But then geezers would all be losing their licenses.) I know the article says she hit a curb while picking people up, but I guess I'd like to know more. (Did anyone see her hit this curb? I mean doesn't one drive to the curb when picking people up?)

What does that even mean? I mean, assuming this is a small woman would .011 mean a beer, a glass of wine or what?

Actually, the new and almost unknown NY limit is 0.05 with higher penalties at 0.08. You still can go to jail for several days until the legal circus catches up.

0.05 is 1-3 drinks depending on size and alcohol content. I know a small older woman that spent 3 nights in jail for a large glass of wine after dinner.

At this point they should stop playing games and not allow any alcohol while driving. The current system makes people guess and (most importantly) generates revenue from those that think they're safe with 1-2 drinks.

Folks, we need to cut this gal some slack. Being married to a Kennedy would drive anyone to drink..
.
Having to listen to Robert Jr's annointing, whiney "whipped dog" voice would drive any one to drink...

But then again she knew she was marrying a Kenndy and his voice didn't change since pubert.....

“They sure do get drunk a lot in that Camelot place!!”

In short, there’s simply not
A more congenial spot
For happily-drinking than here
In Camelot.

...after a domestic dispute at the couple’s home in Bedford, N.Y.,....

Maybe she got tired of shivering in the cold and light up the oil furnace and wanted to drive a real car
