Color trumps loyalty to Christ, among most blacks.
It’s shocking, really.
Good article Lloyd. Though I’m afraid that it will not reach it’s intended audience. Still, you’ll never get a hole in one on the golf course if you quit playing golf. Keep on trying and don’t get discouraged. There might be a hole in one in your future out there somewhere...

I'm sorry -- what god do they worship?
We can only pray and work in faith, asking God to bring this people to repentance.
Great column. I have seen so many who profess faith in Christ to blindly, eagerly vote and support Obama, primarily because of the color of his skin.
I would shed tears of joy if a black man with the heart and values of Llyod Marcus were president of the United States. But truly, I cannot reconcile in my mind how a Christ follower could vote for Obama with his stated, and now demonstrated, values.
The thing also that bothers me is the minister told me this was God's will, if it wasn't Obama would never be in the white house..I told him God gives us our own will and the people of this country are the ones voting for this Muslim not God..
It is a shame these people feel that way..Now I know where they stand..
Obama also shamelessly plays the race card to get his way and it didn’t help anyone except Obama and friends when voting look at what thay have done not what they saythey will do talk is cheap and Obama is the king of cheap talk.
The welfare programs initiated by LBJ and touted as socially beneficial to minorities and poor whites have served only to emasculate men, remove fathers & religious faith from families and secure subservience to the State....for every generation since 1964.
The black family was the first to be destroyed by these programs...but not the last.
"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal".--James (Jim) Cone,
African American Religious Thought: An Anthology (Paperback)
by Cornel West (Editor), Eddie S. Glaude Jr. (Editor)
SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

The One was chosen because he managed to “close” the God Gap (as it was labelled by the Democrats in November 2004, they have worked ever since to run phony Christians and to couch policies like Obamacare into religious obligations).
A great thread, but it should be read by white Christians as well, or maybe even more so.
The white churches has had much longer to teach people the truth, but it seems they are losing it.
There are so many false teachers in the white churches that are teaching socialism and every thing else except what the Bible says, that i am not even interested in going to church any more even though i know that there are a few good ones left.
People will holler religion, religion, when it is not religion that we need but the truth of Gods word.
God bless and hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
Thanksgiving and prayers for you, Lloyd Marcus.
Saying the truth and writing it takes a lot of love and even more courage.
Prayers for eyes, ears, and minds, to be opened and hearts to be turned before it’s too late.
God bless.

I went to a black church in east Austin a few months back and nothing about Christ was even mentioned.
It was nothing but a social gospel which isn't the gospel at all. I was extremely disappointed in what I heard in-between those walls.
Their stomachs are more important than their kids or the Creator of the universe. Sorry to say.
Very well said. Don’t get discouraged; if even one person opens his or her eyes you have succeeded.
God Bless!
