"Are you looking for anything in particular in tubes. I got a couple of old radios with lots of spare tubes." I have an old (bakelite) radio with tubes that still works. I'm saving it to use after the EMP attack.

I have old distributor and coils for backup also. I probably should get the propane tanks topped off.

why not just keep some radios in a small room with Farraday protection?
Buy a metal dog kennel and run a ground wire to a cold water pipe.

I'm saving it to use after the EMP attack. Because, as everyone knows, most radio stations have vaccuum tube transmitters. /s

I have an old (bakelite) radio with tubes that still works. I'm saving it to use after the EMP attack. Same here... but I've owned it since before I knew what an "EMP" was. You can still buy full sets of tubes for specific radio models - I got a set off of eBay a while back. Mostly Russian tubes, but the specs are correct and they work well enough.

You could also just keep a spare radio in a metal garbage can.
