We need to school our candidates very well in the following:
1) If you had an extramarital affair, don’t even run. Go back home. It WILL be discovered.
2) If you have an extramarital affair while in office, resign right now. It WILL eventually be discovered.
3) No matter what, if you are interested in being elected or stay in office, do NOT have an extramarital affair. It WILL be discovered.
4) Do not even get yourself into a situation that is even a bit iffy. Someone will discover it and make it out worse than it was.
5) You are a celebrity. Keep someone around you who will keep an eye on you and try to prevent you from doing stupid things.
6) Here is a list of people who got caught who never imagined they would get caught. Read it. (Insert list here.)
7) Here is a list of steps on the slippery slope that ends in an affair. Read it often. And don’t even take step #1 assuming that will be the end of it. That’s what the people in #6 did. (Insert steps here.)
8) Elected officials have power. Some women and men are attracted to that power. If they can seduce that power, then they feel they have power. But in the end, they are TAKING your power, since you WILL get caught. Don’t let them take it. Don’t get too close to them.
9) If you are going to DC or (you state capital or where ever) don’t go their planning to get away with fooling around. Forget it. You WILL get caught.
10) There are a lot of other reasons for avoiding affairs that you as a candidate/official can add to this list. Add them. Read them often.

I am inclined to believe that she commmitted adultery, but it was mitigated by mercy. I forgive them. Don't do it again.
Send her back to hubbie and the kids. Now get that stupid meathead divorced and back in his congressman chair before the Democrats do something really big stupid..
