FRONT GATE NOTES A warm day with a cold front passing through at the beginning of the DC Chapters 265th consecutive Friday night, brought the threat of extreme weather. Fortunately, it only partially materialized with hail and a cloud burst at the beginning. Many drivers contributed to the show of support with waves and honks.
The DAV bus returned from dinner before we left for home.
Other Notes Worth Noting
Cindy True Supporter bought a wounded warrior mother, Liz from Pomona, CA, to stand with us for awhile. Her son has been at Walter Reed for awhile and is scheduled for several more procedures before he is released in about a year. She had seen us while on the dinner bus with her son and she wanted to meet and thank us.
Later, a lady in a car pulled over and said I am really glad to see you here.
We are glad to be here too supporting the wounded soldiers and their families.

WOW speedy report, I watch for them!
A weird weather night by the sound of it. You guys are wonderful to brave all kinds of weather to be there.
God bless you all!
And to the troops who visit this thread - thank you for your service and for all the sacrifices you and your families have made to keep us free.
God bless you richly, one and all.
Thank you all for supporting our wonderful troops.
Thanks for doing what you do guys, you stand there for all of us who are too far away.
Thank you for proudly standing guard every Friday night outside WRAMC...264 and counting! It is a wounderful tribute to these fine men and women ... they will not be forgotten and their sacrifices were not in vain. We placed a tribute to all the “Friday Night” FReepers on our website (www.aleethia.org) under support stories. BTW, Cpl Edinger was on the bus last Friday night attending his first “Aleethia Friday Night Dinner!” Hooah!
Yep, decided to pull over under a big tree till the hail stopped. While not very big we didn’t know how big they were going to get.
Thanks for the AAR. Dang [Mrs] T takes some good pics.
