I like what I’ve heard from her. She’s been interviewed in the local talk radio. Sounds a lot better than the rest of the field.

I was just searching the net for her. Served four terms as District Attorney and is against “sanctuary cities”.
Sounds good to me.

You won’t hear from them here, they’re posting over on their 15,487th “Palin endorsed Fiorina!” thread. Half of them are brand new accounts - signed up just to bash Sarah (go figure).
Because, as we have stated, the only thing these people will acknowledge has ever happened in Sarah Palin’s career is the endorsements of Fiorina and McCain. She could help get 1000 Conservatives elected, it doesn’t matter ONE BIT to them - not even one little bit.
This is what, her 1500th rock-solid Conservative endorsement this cycle? Yet all the haters want to harp on is Fiorina and McCain. That’s all they ever talk about, ever.
PDS is right. They are deranged, indeed.

Last poll I could find was from way back in February. There are probably more recent polls out there.
“Then, asked if there was a candidate you intend to vote for, or that you are leaning toward, 29.3 percent picked Domenici, while 11.5 percent picked Martinez, 7.4 percent picked Weh, 6.8 percent picked Turner and 2.5 percent picked Arnold-Jones. Some 42.6 percent said they werent sure.
The survey of 444 Republicans who voted in one or both of the last two Republican primaries was conducted from Feb. 9-13 and has a margin of error of 5 percentage points. The list of phone numbers called was provided by Research and Polling the company that polls for the Albuquerque Journal and the poll reached every county in the state, according to the poll memo.”

Thanks, that poll gave me enough information to see that she is definitely in the running, which is what I was curious about.

Thank you.....another post of the year!
You are right, they are trolls and supporters of other candidates that are trashing Sarah continuiously.... i don’t like McCain and im not sure about Carla but the rest of them, many times over Sarah has helped are great.....and the Sean Duffys of the world will owe Sarah big time if she runs....Sarah has done more good than bad these past months since she came down to the lower 48 and for them not to even acknowledge that but be misrables is telling indeed

Info later than February poll. . .
New Mexico Republican Partys choice at the preprimary convention 3/13/10
Susana Martinez 46.65 percent
Allen Weh 26.32 percent
Janice Arnold-Jones 13.16 percent
Doug Turner 9.23 percent
Pete Domenici Jr. 4.61 percent
Weh is spending a lot more money and has gained in some of the polls. Domenici is sinking......still.

Martinez's campaign manager Adam Deguire said this about Martinez's beliefs about illegal immigration:
Susana Martinez believes that securing our borders starts with ending policies that encourage illegal immigration. Thats why Martinez opposes giving drivers licenses and free college tuition scholarships to illegal immigrants. As a member of law enforcement, Martinez does not believe in sanctuary policies that prevent police officers from asking the immigration status of suspects in their custody during the course of a criminal investigation. In addition, Martinez has real experience dealing with immigration and border security issues. Her office prosecutes hundreds of cases related to border security every year and works with various law enforcement agencies to secure convictions against members of Mexicos violent drug cartels. Martinez believes we are a nation of immigrants and supports legal immigration, but opposes amnesty.

You are correct.
They have 4 standard rejoinders they think overcome the overwhelming evidence that she is a conservative and she is a leader:
1. She endorsed McCain
2. She endorsed Carly
3. She "Quit"
4. Her statements on Illegal Immigration during the 2008 campaign.
That's it!
#1 is somewhat defensible out of loyalty and repaying a debt(Honor), though I think she should have gone with J.D.
#2, I wish she had endorsed Chuck DeVore.
#3 is completely defensible on the reasons she quit.
#4 she was honor-bound to, support the primary candidate's position, since that time she has further clarified her position and has separated herself from McCain's position on several key points.
Now, balance these four, or maybe 2, against the 12+ (and growing every day) positive conservative endorsements she has made and her overwhelmingly conservative list of policy positions, her leadership qualities, her fearlessness in taking the fight to the enemy and there is no questions that the Palin nay-sayers are driven by one type or another of some type of hidden agenda.
Whether it is supporting some less than desirable candidate such as Myth Romney, the Huckster, Rudy, etc., or even supporting a comparable candidate such as Hunter or Demint, or some fringe player like Ron Paul, Alan Keyes, or any other third party candidate....Their math simply does not add up.

That to me is very important...if they the "SARAH Haters" reject that, then they are rejecting precedent of Vice President candidates siding up with polices of the top candidate but they personally didn't favor, going back decades upon decades...Dick Cheney personally rejected the Marriage defense Act because of his daughter but HE SAID THAT HE WILL ABIDE BY THE PRESIDENTS POSITION AND POLICY...this was during the 2004 campaign!
To: Josh Painter
WOW this lady does look good. I hope she wins! Great endorsement!
To: ABQHispConservative
Well if Sarah is endorsing her, she MUST be a RINO! /s
