Pat Metheny Group

Patrick Bruce "Pat" Metheny (pronounced muh-THEE-nee; born August 12, 1954) is an American jazz guitarist and composer.

One of the most successful and critically acclaimed jazz musicians to come to prominence in the 1970s and '80s, he is the leader of the Pat Metheny Group and is also involved in duets, solo works and other side projects. His style incorporates elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, post-bop, latin jazz and jazz fusion. Pat Metheny has three gold albums and 17 Grammy Awards.

Sorry to hear that a co-worker was killed.

Wayman Tisdale had a great smile and a wonderful attitude.
He had lost a leg to cancer earlier and I guess it spread
and finally killed him

He was! Was a pretty good pro football player before turning
his talents to the jazz guitar, too!

It was a shock. I had just spoken to him a few hours before on a friday afternoon.

Was greeted with the usual smile and pleasantry,

The he headed to south tx to see his family and whack! some clown crossed the centerline.

The guy who did it was reaching for a cigarette he dropped.
He was uninjured.
