Pat Metheny Group

Patrick Bruce "Pat" Metheny (pronounced muh-THEE-nee; born August 12, 1954) is an American jazz guitarist and composer.

One of the most successful and critically acclaimed jazz musicians to come to prominence in the 1970s and '80s, he is the leader of the Pat Metheny Group and is also involved in duets, solo works and other side projects. His style incorporates elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, post-bop, latin jazz and jazz fusion. Pat Metheny has three gold albums and 17 Grammy Awards.

I'd much rather to be jocular tonight...don't worry all things pass...but I visited a gov't office today and ran into a friend who was standing outside the door. The office was closed, no services until another day. Now, other than my disappointment over a canceled appointment, I can't say that I was particularly upset....as a matter of fact, I was sort of glad.

Bureaucrats!

Now, on the bright side.....they'll have to face me on Monday morning to start their abbreviated week on a low note.
