" The reason such attacks are hard to stop is rooted in the identity of the attackers. They often seem to be successful or well-educated members of society, uninvolved in any form of radicalism. "

That’s where the Taliban came from in the first place, as I recall. The Saudis radicalized Pakistani madrassahs, then when we worked with Pakistan to expell the Soviet Union, the Taliban moved into Afghanistan—from Pakistan.

I can’t believe these guys aren’t already on the terrorist list.

the Pakistani Taliban, a/k/a tehreek-e-Taliban, are the group of geniuses who claimed responsibility for the attempted bombing in Times Square by Shahzad. They said the attack was intended as revenge for the death of Baitullah Mehsud and “especially” the deaths of Abu Umer al Baghdadi’s associates in Iraq, recent drone attacks against the islamofascists in tribal areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the female Dr. Aafia Siddiqui who is held by the USA.

US mulls putting Pakistan Taliban on terrorism list

Let's not be too quick to condemn the Taliban without at least having Senate hearings first. /s
