Ron Paul: Theres Anger Theres Going To Be Riots In The Streets
By Rocky Vega
05/07/10 Stockholm, Sweden Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) was on Fox News yesterday, discussing Greece and describing how the financial crisis has become a currency crisis which is much worse. He sees an attack on the dollar in terms of gold, and has no doubt that the currency crisis is a worldwide problem.
Referring to whether or not Greece-like riots could take place in the US he says:
Absolutely, theres going to be anger. Theres going to be riots in the streets as well. But this is all a consequence of the fact of why and how government could spend like this. Its because they dont have sound money.
When we run up deficits, we tax, but never enough. We cant tax, it would ruin the economy. Then we borrow, and we get away with that for a long time. But, we rely on printing presses from the Federal Reserve to create money and thats where the problem is [...] we cant have fake money, this is counterfeit.

What a shame.
Have a good evening.

You apparently do not understand the term fiat, and having heard or read Ron Paul say and describe the word , term , and it’s realo world usage enough times to disparage the man, have absolutely no idea what he’s talking about.
Fiat BY DEFINITION HAS IMMEDIATE VALUE as an instrument of trade. With your new understanding, try to reconsider the loss of purchasing power over any N periods and the destructive consequences of ZIRP policy with massive liquidity injection on the savers and responsible citizens in society.
Get with the program....
“Republicans are happy in the minority getting their share of the Loot without being responsible. I think they will sell us down the socialist river.”
They have. They already have. We’ve been had.
I have no interest in nutjobs "program". That's why I'm on this thread. I'm doing my job in pointing out that he's a nut. By the way. Say hi to GoldStandard next time you see him.
Well, I’m not that pessimistic.
Typical photoshop smear. It's perfectly okay to disagree with the guy, but not to lie about him. Ron Paul never wore a 9/11 truther button and he never said it was an inside job.
The pic of the crowd is real and remember when Alex Jones, the 9/11 Truther nut and Paul money guy and his bunch were in New York with this crap.
This POS took on Michele Malkin there.
Have spoke with many Paul supporters face to face including several the other week. All anti war, 9/11 Truthers.
His sites push this and links to this propaganda. His boy in 08, Chuck Baldwin, is a Truther.
I agree. Stocking up on foodstuffs and paper items (toilet paper, sanitary stuff) that you know will cost more tomorrow than it does today only makes sense.
Anyone that has a savings account at the bank is pretty much “stocking up” for hard times. A Life Insurance policy is the same thing. Filling up your gas tank when prices are low and expected to go higher is only common sense.
Spending thousands of dollars on a truckload of AK-47’s or 10,000 rolls of toilet paper that you have to add a room on to your house to store is a little weird. Especially if your kid needs braces or you need a brake job on your car. Moderation and good old common sense prevails.
It still doesn’t hurt to have a well-filled pantry and a couple extra cans of gas for your generator when the power goes out.
If having some gold and silver coins at your ready makes a person feel safer if and when TSHTF I don’t see the problem.
Agree or disagree?
Re #71:
As you have written your response I have to agree. Common sense is the key here.
RP is right. We have far to many eaters than producers. When the gravy train stops, we will have trouble.
I would be more in to Nuke and Forget.
Look in to working overseas. Lots of jobs. USA is going down the tubes with the Obamulans.
Essentially you are correct. I'm not a fan of Ron Paul by any measurement used as he is quite correct but first and foremost I am a firm believer of biblical prophesy on this subject and the NKJ Bible.
