Sarah Palin: Let’s shake it up in California! (Sarah endorses Carly Fiorina - Huh?)
Facebook ^ | Sarah Palin

Posted on 05/06/2010 12:29:51 PM PDT by FightforFreedomCA

I’d like to tell you about a Commonsense Conservative running for office in California this year. She grew up in a modest home with a school teacher dad, worked her way through several colleges, and then entered an arena where few women had tread. Through a combination of hard work, perseverance, and common sense, she proved the naysayers wrong to reach the top of her field, where she led with distinction – facing hard truths, making tough decisions, and showing real leadership through a rocky transition period. Where others had failed, her company had weathered the storm and settled on a stronger new foundation.

Her name is Carly Fiorina, and I’m proud to endorse her for U.S. Senate.

Carly is the Commonsense Conservative that California needs and our country could sure use in these trying times. Most importantly, she’s running for the right reasons. She has an understanding that is sorely lacking in D.C. She’s not a career politician. She’s a businesswoman who has run a major corporation. She knows how to really incentivize job creation. Her fiscal conservatism is rooted in real life experience. She knows that when government grows, the private sector shrinks under the burden of debt and deficits. We can trust Carly to do the right thing for America’s economy and to make the principled decisions she has throughout her professional career.

Please consider that Carly is the conservative who has the potential to beat California’s liberal senator, Barbara Boxer, in November. I’m a huge proponent of contested primaries, so I’m glad to see the contest in California’s GOP, but I support Carly as she fights through a tough primary against a liberal member of the GOP who seems to bear almost no difference to Boxer, one of the most leftwing members of the Senate. Carly needs our support in this crucial election year when we have a real chance of putting an end to the Pelosi/Reid “Big Government” agenda.

I hope you’ll join me in supporting Carly. Visit her website here, and follow her on Facebook and Twitter. Read up on her positions and plans to help get us on the right track.

California is still Reagan Country, and Carly promises her “Reagan Conservative” values will be put to good use for her state and for our great nation. Shaking it up in California is long overdue. Let’s help Carly do it!

I don’t want to make this personal, but you are absolutely 100% died in the wool delusional as it relates to Fiorina and her value to my state.

My argument is 100% on the money. And your silly comeback that it is weak is nothing but pure avoidance.

We’ve got a chance to replace Boxer, and you want us to replace here with a female John McCain.

Why bother? If that’s your best shot, just leave Boxer there.

That was my point. I worked for President Reagan and he was like a second father to me, but he wasn’t Jesus!!

To what “RINO Lover” read my posts. I have said I agree with the majority of the people here. It was a bad move, what do you want me to do, burn her at the stake.

While Carly has worked her way up the corporate ladder, she is no politician, unless you want to count who she rubs elbows with and how much they donate to each others campaigns.

Politics and Corporate Types mixed together, You’d think that would be a improvement over a House and Senate full of predominantly lawyers, or at least have some diluting effect.. but I don’t feel like gambling this go around.. especially when the mood of the electorate is more open to the conservative approach out of necessity to survive the hell bent gubamint spending.

Go Chuck!

“She puts the party before her conservatism.”
_____________________________________________

Wrong! She put taking the country back from the Obamunists above everything else. Sometimes that means not endorsing the most conservative candidate in the primaries. Sarah’s smart, and she realizes that california hasn’t elected a Senator who wasn’t a liberal Dem since the early 1950s.

She obviously believes Fiorina has the best chance to beat Boxer in the general.

Boy, is she stuck between a rock and a hard place. She would have never gone national without McCain, and now she feels obligated to those who got her there. What would you do? Would you abandon those folks? It’s a really hard call. We all want her to be a conservative. But, perhaps national politics isn’t for her. I feel she’d be corrupted fast in Washington. Loyalty only goes so far, and our country is just barely hanging on right now. Country first, wasn’t that McCain’s slogan? Sarah, step back from the party, and look at what’s going on.

Instead of country first, it should be Constitution First.

She is anti israel and pro muslim. Not a shock, this is California after all. For ONCE I’d like Conservatives running(Besides DeVore of course) the issue with DeVore is not one single ad is being played here of him. My brother asked me a few days ago who I would be voting for and I said DeVore and he said “Whose that” and he’s really into politics. Most people don’t even know who DeVore is which is the problem. If he wants a chance to win, he has to get his name out there

It would if our team ran on these issues. The fact is, they do not. So what you might want to ponder is why? It’s something folks like me ask of our state RP officials all the time. They have no answers, but they sure open the coffers for the most leftist of them, and clamp them shut when a person with real values shows up. But then you knew this right?

Just leave Boxer there...ok, you just lost on that one!

THAT’S THE BIGGEST MISTAKE. BARBRA BOXER HAS GOT TO GO.

And by the way I do have stake in California. I own property in Bakersfield

Stay classy. Let me inform all of you out there who defend this decision by Sarah by stating, "Carly's the only one who can beat Boxer...in blue states, I'll take a RINO if they can beat Boxer...yada, yada, yada."

That was slickly worded, the thing is, this is the primary, not the general.

Carly is the only one that can beat Tom Campbell with 4 weeks to go in the race, and the money to make use of those four weeks.

Why would anybody be surprised by this? Is Fiorina any more RINO than McCain?

Palin is a party hack. She is disappointing now and she will most certainly disappoint IF you dolts elect her as POTUS.

The GOP will hand your sorry *sses right to the hard left, mark my words.

Fiorina, DeVore or Campbell. We have to come together on one of these 3 and stand together and support the Primary winner because we CAN beat Boxer. If the supporters of the other 2 GOP candidates play “sour grapes,” then Boxer the Lib wins and continues to trash America. Thank you.

I have said I agree with the majority of the people here.

I read the first dozen or so posts and read this:

Only Whitman and Poizner(Over and over again unfortunately) if you read her statement carefully, she clearly states she is going with the candidate that has the best chance of defeating Boxer..Fiorina might have the best chance

Seemed like a supportive statement...

Carry on...lol

No, I didn’t lose. You’re just incapable of understanding that Fiorina is Boxer with an (R) behind her name. And you have just made it clear you have no idea what the ramifications of that are.

And of course, living 850 to 1200 miles away, you are as in tune with what Californians are thinking as the people who live here.

Well, you’ve proven that to be false by dismissing the issues I raised for your consideration.
