I would add that much of the incentive for employers to use legal immigrants (e.g., H1-B visas, etc.) is related to the exact same factors you mentioned.
Paragon of calm reason? My read on him is that he is full of himself to a level that would make Rush blush. His scoffing at anyone that disagrees with him comes through without saying a word. I guess he spends as much time picking apart arguments he disagrees with as FR does with Democrats policy decisions. The only difference is, those he most vehemently takes to task, are his supposed natural allies......conservatives. To me, he is a big govt Democrat, but his “religious” “habit”, because it seems he worships the tradition but not the deity, means his social life requires being pro life.

Ask him this ONE simple, easy, non-rocket scientist question:
“Do YOU agree that I as a Citizen have the absolute CONSTITUTIONAL, HUMAN, and CIVIL RIGHT to own, carry, and use if need be, a handgun for personal self-defense and the defense of my family - on the road, outside/inside my home, state-to-state?”
His answer will determine once and for all EXACTLY what he is...and what he thinks of YOU for having the temerity to exercise your right.
If that answer is NOT an immediate, unconditional YES, then he/she/it is nothing more than a POS with designs on your liberty and views you as nothing more than someone to be dictated to - NOT answerable to, as a Public Servant is supposed to be.
For that matter - that’s the question we should DEMAND an answer of for EVERY politician.
For the record, I don’t know where he stands on it...but I have a pretty good guess with the “D” after his name.

Ca is inundated. Illegals have been undercutting each other for work there for decades which is why they have been moving out to other states.
Keep the pressure on them. Attrition works. We just need to make certain they can’t return when the economy starts to creep back up.

That used to be true. Even if we could get our laze teens off of Facebook chat long enough to look for a job, there wasn't any. These day's Illegals are taking dad's construction/factory/warehouse/delivery job. Illegal's kids are taking those entry level jobs now.
I know. I live in CA. I don't think that CA should be bailed out. Liberal policies (also by Republicans as well as Democrats) have put this State in the hole and they must be allowed to fail before anyone learns anything about what destroys a State.
The point was that if the US is bailing another country out of debt, how can it refuse to bail out one of its own States? Good question. Although it can and must refuse, it should have never bailed out Greece.
