Let’s stop pretending

The administration in Washington is trying to force on Israel a peace settlement with the Palestinians.

It is almost a year now that a certain ritual has marked the public discourse between Washington and Jerusalem. Israel gets a good slap in the face and a few days later someone in Washington announces that the U.S.-Israeli relationship is rock-solid. The Israeli prime minister is demeaned in Washington and a day later he declares that the U.S.-Israeli relationship is firm as ever.

Anybody who has been involved in fostering the U.S.-Israeli relationship over the years, so important to both countries, knows that things are not as they have been for the past 50 years. The relationship, which on occasion is being described in Washington as “unshakable and unbreakable,” has for the past year been shaken up quite a bit.

Most of America doesn’t trust Obama, why should Israel expect anything different?

The U.S. is now a thugacracy where the Dems believe anything can be rammed through and imposed on us. Any wonder they think they can do the same to Israel??

When you look for a solution to a problem, it’s always good to look at the causes of the problem. The reason for the Arab-Israel problem is simple: the Arabs hate the Jews and want to destroy Israel. Nothing new. It started with Ishmael hating and persecuting Isaac thousands of years ago. Israel is right where she belongs and the Arabs are the instigators of terrorism against Israel and everybody else.

The Arabs would rather die than see Israel established because behind all of this, as always, is a spiritual issue: in this case it is the devil who has always hated God’s people and wants to wipe them out. The solution is to show the Arabs strong and determined resistance. It has been shown that when these terrorists are met with determined, deadly force they go back to hide in their caves for fear.

I think it has nothing to do with Ismael and everything to do with the Jews’ refusal to accept Mohammed as a prophet of God.

The Arabs are descendants of Ishmael.

Today, as in days of old, the Arabs are the aggressors, the terrorists against not just Israel but the whole world, and the ones that want to see Israel and the Jews wiped of the map. Crazily, the world ignores this terrorist threat and sides with these crazies against God’s people, Israel.

The world, as it always has, turns on Israel. But Israel has a Friend. Someday soon they will understand that.

The Muslims claim that Arabs are descendents of Ismael. But Mohammed lived almost three thousand years after the time of Abraham and there is no objective way of linking Mohammed’s people with Ismael. IMHO, Mohammed made the claim just in opposition to the Jewish claim to be the true descendents of Mohammed.

Mohamed the gangster plagiarist hoped to win Jewish converts to his new faith, roughly based on animist roots and select Old Testament scripture. Jews were not impressed and he began a fatwa against them that persists to this day.

The Ishmael thing is just a side note. The point is the fact that the Arabs are the terrorist aggressors on the essentially peace-loving nation of Israel who they want to destroy. There’s no “peace” solution here. There’s only pushing back the aggressors in such a way that they are afraid to keep up the aggression.

The concept of a Jewish state is anathama to them. The British can be blamed for this. They promised the Jews a zionist state in order to get the Jews on their side in the war against Turkey. They did the same thing to the Arabs. But then they decided to limit Jewish immigration into the Palestinian mandate while opening the borders to the Arabs in the surrounding regions. Many Arab families think they have always lived in the area west of the Jordan when in truth their grandparents were the first to live there. Funny thing how that works. I have known Mexicans in San Antonio who do not know that in 1900, the city was mainly Anglo and Germans, that the most commonly spoken language there was German. The Mexicans think their families have always been there. But as late as 1940 they were still in the minority.

Should we accept Joseph Smith as a prophet of God? How about Benny Hinn?

It seems that Mohammed wanted to be taken seriously by the Jewish Community in Medina but they scorned him. He then turned against them.
