Jewish and Muslim students clashed Thursday at an event at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, according to the local paper Journal Sentinel. The clash left one Jewish student wounded and a Muslim student under arrest. University officials plan to investigate the incident.
The story began as Jewish students held a celebration in honor of Israel's recent Independence Day outside the student union offices. A group of students from the Muslim Student Association came to the event and began yelling at those present, accusing Israel of mistreating Arabs.
"We didn't go there intending to cause trouble, we just wanted to have a conversation,” Muslim Student Association president Yamin Masalkhi claimed said.
Masalkhi said “hotheads” in his group were responsible for escalating the argument by flying a Palestinian Liberation Organization flag from a structure the Jewish students were using for their event. A Jewish student attempted to throw the flag in the trashbin , and was struck by one of the Muslim students.

I went last week to the UW-Milwaukee to see Ann Coulter speak, and the security was unbelievably high. About a dozen students “protested” by dressing and acting like zombies out on the lawn. If I was a parent wasting my money sending my kid there so they could do that, I’d cut them off money-wise immediately,

This violent antisemitism, both in the raising of the Palestinian Flag over the Jewish event and in the assault on the Jewish student, can not be tolerated here in Wisconsin. The perpetrators of this crime must be punished to the full extent of the law and condemned by other Muslims. If not, we may find that these continuing violent provocations by some Muslims in this country leads to a violent backlash against all Muslims in this country. Both of Wisconsin's senators are Jewish. I hope they will both condemn this antisemitic violence.

You're correct to expect that, but both are Democrats, so I'd be pleasantly surprised if they do.
Neither flag belongs here. The only flag that deserves respect is Old Glory.
Wisconsin has two Jewish Senators, whereas Minnesota, has only one, far dumber than Minnesota's Christian Senator, but hardly any Jews in that part of the country.
How is it a “clash” when it is obvious the Jewish student was attacked by a muslim?
