Arizona Governor Poll Bounce for Arizona Governor After Signing Immigration Law (+16%)
Rasmussen Reports ^

Last week, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed an immigration law that launched a national debate. It has also at least temporarily helped her own chances of remaining Arizonas governor.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the state shows that 56% now approve of the way Brewer is performing her role as governor. Two weeks ago, just 40% offered their approval.
The new figure includes 22% who Strongly Approve of the governors performance. Thats up from five percent (5%) before Brewer signed the law that authorizes local police to stop and verify the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant.
The bounce in the polls is also evident in new numbers on the November election. If Brewer is the Republican nominee, she would get 48% of the vote while her likely Democratic opponent, State Attorney General Terry Goddard, would attract 40%. Two weeks ago, it was Brewer 44% and Goddard 40%. Goddard is an outspoken opponent of the new law.

Do you mind to tell us what country you immigrated from? If you don’t want to tell, please feel free not to answer.

Was watching my favorite Cavuto on FNC today and he kept bringing on democrat race baiters and asking them if the 70% of Arizona-ians supporting this law were Racist(they all said no.) . Even Matthews called on democrats to stop equating this law to Nazi Germany,
MSNBC Schultz, Maddow and Olberman are declaring AZ a racist police state saying this is a replay of the 1960s and Alabama (watching them is like looking at a car wreck on the side of the road.)
Glenn Beck was right, Obama is a racist.

RE :”

Matthews actually admitted that the Jews did not sneak into Germany to get jobs like illegals did this country. And he always calls the Tea Partyers racists.
Question to liberal american blacks and European Jews: Do you agree with democrats equating you with illegals?? How about speaking up?

I see that the Arizona Daily Star (Tucson paper, sometimes know as the Red Star) has a poll going asking ‘do you support or oppose the new immigration law in Ariz’. It could use some help. The last time I checked the new law was being disapproved 60-40.

He will do fine if he gets off the birther crap which was finished when Obama took the oath. Hiya Chuckles!
You're still here? I'm impressed!
Do you recall that Al Gore and a lot of pseudo-scientists declared man-made global warming "settled?"
For one who proclaims himself a Christian, you don't exactly seem focused on discerning truth. If a government agency declared 1 + 2 = 5, would you go along with it?
One fine day, Diogenes was at the town square cleaning lentils to make himself a meal. Plato strolls up to Diogenes and says: "Diogenes, if you'd only learn to kowtow to kings, you wouldn't have to eat lentils." To which Diogenes immediately responds: "Plato, if only you'd learn to eat lentils, you wouldn't have to kowtow to kings."
I kinda like lentils. Do you like lentils, roger?

The last time I checked the new law was being disapproved 60-40. Well you know that poll is total BS. When Rasmussen showed 70% of Arizonians for to 23% against and you can bet of those 23% many are likely to be illegals that skewed the poll. So it is likely 80% for and 10 % against.
Another poll showed 60% across the US approve of the AZ immigration law.
I was hoping Obama would go for it and try anyways since it is such a losing issue.

Well that’s a fast way to get deported.

Question.. Does the fact that many Dems & Repubs fear alienating hispanic-Americans and their vote over the illegal immigration issue mean that many hispanic-Americans are racist in that they would support any member of their own race even if their behavior were illegal?
Who are the REAL racists here?
To: Red Steel
You have to love it. Ya gotta hate those that are trying the race word to cover up illegal hum!
To: BP2
I'm sorry, but there are no Republicans to take your call right now as they're all busy trying to reassure Hispanic voters. If you'll please leave a sizable donation and a message no one will listen to, someone will write a generic thank you letter in a timely manner, depending upon the size of the contribution. The bounce in the polls is also evident in new numbers on the November election. There will be a target on Brewer's back in the upcoming election. The left will finance her opponent as a way to teach Brewer a lesson. We may need to help fill Brewer's campaign bucket.
