Opponents of the popular expression of conservative opposition to big government, the tea party, regularly note that tea partiers are overwhelmingly white. This is intended to disqualify the tea parties from serious moral consideration.
But there are two other facts that are far more troubling: The first is the observation itself. The fact that the Left believes that the preponderance of whites among tea partiers invalidates the tea party movement tells us much more about the Left than it does about the tea partiers.
It confirms that the Left really does see the world through the prism of race, gender and class rather than through the moral prism of right and wrong.
One of the more dangerous features of the Left has been its replacement of moral categories of right and wrong, and good and evil with three other categories: black and white (race), male and female (gender) and rich and poor (class).
Therefore the Left pays attention to the skin color — and gender (not just “whites” but “white males”) — of the tea partiers rather than to their ideas.

The left can't see right and wrong, because morality [to them] is subjective. This means it can't be classified, so their minds totally reject it as a criteria.

I’d like them to show one time that the Tea Party has excluded any person of any race. The Tea Party invites all Americans to start standing up for what they believe in.
Prager is exactly correct. It would be just as easy to claim that blacks and Hispanics refuse to join the Tea Party movement because they refuse to associate with whites. The race card is and will always be a lame argument.
I agree with Dennis Prager in many issues, but further on about our position of being “white” and male. We are now a nation of two. A nation of black, and a nation of white both separate and unequal. This can be a very dangerous position for both sides in context of various ways, meaning values and morality. The blacks, calling themselves African-American, only see the African part being bred through hardship and labor and no reward of being Black and African, so they think.
The American part? They see us White America as evil, and want to see us being servants to them. Prosperity is hard for the Blacks or Africans, they can’t handle it. So, they cringe on being “American”, and rather being thought of as African.
One major unintended consequence of the left’s race-baiting is that some whites are really Really REALLY getting sick of it. So sick of it that some I know are basically saying, “OK, you accuse me of being racist just because I’m white. Fine. I’ll be racist.”
Of course, the flip side has already happened. The left’s race-baiting has convinced many blacks that all (or nearly all) whites are racist, and many of them hate whites as a result.
That said, TEA Partiers do NOT reject anyone from participating due to race. Nor does FreeRepublic, as is clear from ZOTS of any racist postings. But the left just lies, lies, and lies some more, all in the pursuit of power.
Of such things are race wars made. The left is playing with fire — and napalm — and we’re all likely to get burned regardless of our respective races.
Implicit in allegations of so-called “racism” is the evaluation of the skin color of the accused person.
Certainly not a colorblind action.
How many times have blacks heard other blacks call each other “niggah” and it is not racism, but if a white does so in jest (like Michael Richards of “Seinfeld”), he’s tarred and feathered.
The Left certainly has no interest in preserving freedom of speech.
I’m certainly not for hate speech, but I don’t think it should be forbidden. People just have to deal with the consequences of free speech, rather than hide it with fascist rules that essentially suppress free speech.
This kind of thing has a way of convincing people that it’s best to live among there own kind.

Someone on O’Reilly or Hannity last week said that the democrats NEED to get 80% to 100% of the black votes in order to get anyone elected, so it is an actual strategy of the dems to keep the racism issues alive so that they can continue to make blacks believe that the GOP and tea party types are all out to get them.
The majority of the left has been educated at the altar of multiculturalism.
History has been morphed from Western Civilization being the pillars that hold up our great society to instead,being ‘dead white men who owned slaves and exploited everyone’ are the cause of the worlds problems.
The left can’t help themselves. They are brainwashed.
They won’t judge right and wrong,
as long as you aren’t opposing their agenda.

Actually, that’s been empirically proven,
ironically, by someone trying to prove the benefits of “diversity”.
It seems that people trust each other less when their
cultures aren’t the same. It’s common sense - if someone
doesn’t react half way predictably to certain situations,
then you’re not going to trust them as much.
A common culture, not “diversity”, leads to a stronger society.

No surprise there. . Right out of the communist playbook. . . Sounds rather community organizey doesn't it? Keep everyone agitated and fomenting for their rights and change, uh, er, hope and change? Where do robust American White Males fit in?

The Left exploits race, gender, and class to destroy classic American individualism, liberties, and success. The motives of the Left are rooted in Communism and Socialism. Prager’s prisms represent the methods.
Also, this country is still mostly white. (Gasp, there I said it!)
We’re so used to seeing commercialized images of diverse people that we’ve come to believe that America is like that. It isn’t. There’s more diversity in urban areas, but the rest of the country looks like the Tea Parties; mostly white with a smattering of other races.
Maybe... the Tea Partiers are MOSTLY white because... close to 65% (maybe more) blacks in this country already pay ZERO income tax.
It’s an economic thang.... not race. The Blacks that do attend are definitely NOT part of the 65% free-loaders.
