Id add that if the very first act that any person who comes to America is to break the law (illegal entry), then really what laws matter from that point on...You always hear "the only law they broke". Yeah, they broke the most important law of all and showed total disrespect not only for our laws, but for those who go through the proper channels to enter and stay in this country legally.

When the Tea Party people demonstrate, the state owned media has a furor over peaceful demonstrators. When there are demonstrations against Arizona’s Immigration Law, the “furor” is expected and condoned

Post this everywhere:
With a hat-tip to TornadoAlley3:
Federal Immigration and Nationality Act
Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)
State and local law enforcement officials have the general power to investigate and arrest violators of federal immigration statutes without prior INS knowledge or approval, as long as they are authorized to do so by state law.
There is no extant federal limitation on this authority. The 1996 immigration control legislation passed by Congress was intended to encourage states and local agencies to participate in the process of enforcing federal immigration laws.
Immigration officers and local law enforcement officers may detain an individual for a brief warrantless interrogation where circumstances create a reasonable suspicion that the individual is illegally present in the U.S. Specific facts constituting a reasonable suspicion include evasive, nervous, or erratic behavior; dress or speech indicating foreign citizenship; and presence in an area known to contain a concentration of illegal aliens.

[T]he furor over Arizona's new law cracking down on illegal immigrants grew Monday as opponents used refried beans to smear swastikas on the state Capitol...Mmmmm, tasty!

...immigrants unable to produce documents showing they are allowed to be in the U.S. could be arrested, jailed for up to six months and fined $2,500. That is a significant escalation of the typical federal punishment for being here illegally deportation.OOOoooo! WORSE than deportation!
All THAT proves is that "deportation" doesn't mean JACK to these people; they know they'll be right back there at the Home Depot parking lot before the end of next month.
All the "furor" is because -- unlike Federal "enforcement" in recent years -- THIS Law has TEETH.

Whats so difficult about showing a green card to law enforcement personnel? We all show our drivers license upon request...to LEOs, or to clerks in department stores and grocery stores when we write a check. We have to show hunting and fishing licenses to wildlife officers. There are any number of occasions when all citizens are requested to show proof of identification, etc., for any number of reasons. It is beyond ridiculous for proper papers not to be shown under these circumstances when the abuse of our laws have become epidemic.
I agree; what's the big issue with the Arizona law other than it's a rallying cry for the Dem party and racemongers?
In our local Kaiser HMO, one must now provide photo id along with the membership card, as certain members were giving their cards to their (illegal) relatives who were presenting themselves as the member in order to receive free treatment.
All airlines require photo id to purchase a plane ticket
At my place of employment, I must show photo ID and a SSCard or passport to prove my citizenship status and eligibility to obtain employment
and yes, if pulled over, the first thing the officer usually asks for is photo id and proof of insurance
I hope that Texas follow quickly with the same state legislation. Not much chance getting Wackyfornia to do it, tho.

re: The Arizona law is turning out to be the very test case in which the future of our beloved Republic is at stake. If the Anti-America pro-illegal forces bear enough pressure down as to have the law rescinded, prevent it from being implemented, it would mean our very immigration as being held in the hands of the illegal immigrant community, and that we are all otherwise lost. Arizona! Our thoughts, prayers are with you!

70% of Arizonans are for this law, 61% of Americans are for it, the vocal minority against it needs to shut-up! If there's one thing you can say about the pro-illegal crowd, it's that they're not too bright.
You don't get 61% of the American people and 70% of Arizonans to come over to your way of thinking by smearing swastikas on the windows of the Arizona state capitol building.
And Zero is making the exact same mistake by excoriating the new law and (by extension) those who support it.
Way to go, Bozo. That'll really help your side's election prospects this fall.

...this same AP and their ilk have the gall to chastise the very peaceful tea parties as potentially inciting violence, yet they fail to condemn the actual violence carried out by these protesters. One MSM story had the nerve to describe the first day's rioting as "a festive atmosphere". I kid you not.
These people are loathsome traitors.
