Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon says seniors, kids and out-of-staters should be wary of the Arizona immigration bill signed into law this past week -- warning that it puts them at risk of being arrested.

The law makes illegal immigration a state crime. It gives police the authority to question people about their immigration status and arrest those who cannot show documentation to establish their legal residency.

Only 94% of the people voted for it = that means the gov’ment don’t have to take no notice of steenking citizens. (Maybe if 150% vote for it they’ll take note)

Arizona Immigration Law Puts Seniors, Kids At Risk Of Being Arrested”

Only if they’re here illegally.

What happens to American Seniors and kids if they are caught migrating to Mexico, illegally?

I don’t think that they intend to just roust a bunch of people and ask for ID. They are going simply ask for ID when they stop them for something else. Sheriff Arpaio was on FOX yesterday and he said that if they stopped someone for a traffic violation and they had no drivers’ license or ID, they would take them in. They are simply going to enforce existing laws. Citizens and non-citizens will be treated alike. If you don’t have valid ID and drivers’, you get hauled in.

A freepable poll is not worth the bits to transmit it.

Andrew Napolitano said ...This will be a disaster for Arizona — to say nothing of the fact that it’s so unconstitutional that I predict a federal judge will prevent Arizona from enforcing it as soon as they attempt to do so

I don't understand why a state has to take it up the wazoo - with illegals, crime, degradation of their society, no control over their own land - and NOT being allowed to defend itself.

The gov't says that's the gov't jurisdiction - But the ain't DOING IT.

So a state should jut sit and be destroyed, physically and financially?

This is the scariest aspect of this law. It targets what they think are illegals today (some of whom will be legitimate US citizens—our countrymen), but who tomorrow? How can anybody be comfortable with this?

“valid ID and drivers’” Both? That is alarming. Most people traveling by motor vehicle only have drivers’ licenses, though many also carry credit cards with their name.

Even if you happened to forget your i.d., the other factors would easily clear things up within a moment or two. A lot like going through the border checkpoints in Southern Arizona. “Are you a U.S. Citizen? What’s you’re birthdate?”

Don’t leave your border unprotected. If you do, you will suffer the consequences.

So you say yes and quote a date, maybe even quote an SSN, what does that prove?

I hear ya...this is an interesting poll since it won’t let you vote twice.

“Same can be said of laws against robbing banks.

Stealing cars can put seniors and kids at risk of being arrested”

Nope cops aren’t allowed to perform random searches of citizens on the off chance that one of them may have committed a crime.
The place to stop this is at the border with a fence not in the streets by giving cops a free pass to inspect people they “think” may be breaking the law.
JMHO but it’s never a good idea to give a cop any more authority than they already have.

The person speaking against this is a big time Ron Paul follower, Judge Andrew Napolitano.
The same people who make a career of speaking against McCain who supports this.
