After considering some of the election results we have seen recently(NY-23, Coakley-Brown, Perry-Hutchison), am wondering is the real signal we are witnessing is the demise of the voting for the liberal female?
Looking around, I see lots and lots of problems this country has due to liberal politicians, and females like Patty Murray, Blanche Lincoln, Barbara Boxer do not appear rock-solid for reelection.
Could it be voters see that something is amiss when a female is elected? The overwhelming tendency is to be liberal for women. Look at Kay Bailey Hutchison(BTW, first clue on her being non-conservative is a hypenated name). She is supposely conservative, but would anyone include her within the top 1/3 of conservatives in the Senate? No, not with her voting record.
I see coming tide against voting for women. Yes there are Palins and Bachmans, but for everyone of these conservative women there are 10 that are true liberals.
Yes because there is no confidence in their leadership skills.
Yes, until the conservatives screw up again. Then the sainted “middle” will put the liberals right back in. Bastards.
Lib, “female” politicians are beastly looking sows 90% of the time. To feature them to the public is akin to Hollywood featuring Kathy Bates in love stories. They’d go broke.
There as another path to the political cycle: We put conservatives (the adults) back in charge, they reset the private sector, shring and put the public sector back in check, economy starts ramping up again... booms, tax revenues rise... quickly, and then, almost on cue, the sainted “middle” puts the ‘rats, statists, progressives back in charge to deja-vu this cycle all over again.
Would be nice to have a surge of the conservative female politician. Kudos to Brewer, Palin, and others.
just to be fair, Governor Shriver of California should be included in the list of Liberal Female Politicians that are abject failures.
I have never identified with this woman as being conservative and she is very slow on points, quite boring. She is a camelian when in the presence of liberal progressives. She will be history for future elections.
The problem is driven by the Libtard Media. They are allowed to hound conservatives relentlessly on a daily basis over made up stories and innuendo. The lazy voters, or dumb masses, are just being manipulated like sheep and respond in kind.
The only hope, and I admit it's a slim chance at best, is for Conservatives to actively take the media to the woodshed through the Internet.
It can’t come soon enough for me.
Most of these women are witches, far as I’m concerned. I cannot possibly convey how fried I get, each time they are presented as representative of American women.
They worship at the holy grail of abortion, and nothing else. That includes the RINOs, btw.
I used to think Ann Coulter was nuts, when she claimed women should not be allowed to vote. Now I understand it. Only FReepergals should vote; only they have enough sense to do so. :)
"How DARE you talk like that about me!"
And it’s pretty pathetic, btw, that the only people in the Republican party with enough STONES to challenge this Marxist bastard, pain in the ass, are:
GIRLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*ok, I’m done for now*
:)
In his book “Queen Victoria,” Lytton Strachey summed up how I will feel about the demise of all liberal polticians — and the entrance of Sarah Palin into the Oval Office:
“The nasty old men, debauched and selfish, pig-headed and ridiculous, with their perpetual burden of debts, confusions, and disreputabilities—they had vanished like the snows of winter, and here at last, crowned and radiant, was the spring.”
2010: Is this the year of demise of the liberal Kenyan politician?
Doubtful. Women are a part of politics for good ... or bad depending on the woman. Just like their male counterparts there are good and bad.
Should read “2010: Is this the year of demise of the liberal female RINO! (Hopefully all RINO’s)
The misogynistic comments on this vanity thread are sickening.
