Pilots prayer recorded on Smolensk crash black box
Apr 20, 2010 13:02 Moscow Time
The flight recorders of the Polish Presidents plane registered the prayer of the pilot before the Tu-154 crashed near Smolensk on April 10th killing 96 people on board. The Prosecutor General of Poland pledged to release all recordings of the pilots conversations. Two of the three black boxes from the presidential plane have already been deciphered and voice recordings of the third one are marred by noise and the information needs to be restored. Meanwhile, Polish experts are expected to arrive in Moscow to help identify the voices of the crew members. The content of the black boxes is to be made public on April 22nd.
there was a thread here a few days ago which alleged to show 3 guys going through and shooting survivors. video quality was sketchy but it certainly sounded like shots.

If the video is true, this doesn’t surprise me but ^*)(&%&^%^%&! Putin and his cohorts!
According to a polish or russian (can’t tell which), the guy shooting the video was killed a couple of days ago.
Don’t know, I just flew light aircraft for fun, as it turned out. But I still had my run ins with fog and so forth...
I do know that the last thing I’d be doing when something went wrong would be to pray, since if I’ve still got the controls I still have a chance.
And I’d be taking any small portion I could lay my paws on, and would be much more likely to die swearing than praying.
No doubt there’s a different Russian interpretation.
Yep I’ve heard that doesn’t surprise me at all. He was pretty brave to keep recording after the shots started.
Are we thinking “Allahu Akbar?”
Here is the thread with the video of the shooting

I watched that video and there was nothing there. Fodder for fools

Yeah, its not like Russian ever did anything like that before.
U need to change your handle to Just Plain Naive....
Looks to be landing gear sticking up in the air - if so, it’s not from a 154.
All Russians are not stalinist thugs. If individual Russians for whatever reason wanted to murder the Polish people on the plane there are far easier and less conspicuous ways to do it. There is no evidence or believable rationale to support that anything happened here other than an unfortunate airplane accident.
‘All Russians are not stalinist thugs.”
True, Putin sure is though.
I do know that the last thing Id be doing when something went wrong would be to pray, since if Ive still got the controls I still have a chance.
^^
I suspect you need to revisit the definition of prayer.
Let me guess, on the third one all you can hear is “AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!”
I hate that pilot error is going to be the cause, for political expediency if not the many lives of the Polish people.
What 154s don’t have landing gear?
The scene looks similiar to pictures I remember seeing in the news. Looking for examples to compare.
So true. Say your prayers before you take off so you’ve got that base covered. lol I’m just frustrated by the fact that they were advised to land at a different airport and chose not to for whatever reasons. If you have to pray through your landing when you had a better choice available, I don’t know what to say. Just tragic. I feel so terrible for the people of Poland.
Other than the idolization of Obama, this story has had the worst reporting I have ever seen. All sorts of unsourced rumors! Uninformed so-called “experts,” etc. This story has disintegrated into pure journalistic stupidity.
