Just saw the pictures from there.
:-(
Praise the Lord! I know how scary that is.
FWIW, I’m keeping a weather eye open in Auburn, AL.
TWC has discussed a chemical plant hit and people trapped, don’t know if its that one.
Glad to see you. Prayers up all around.
Onyx, where are you? You’re in my prayers as well.
Oh wow, hope it stays away from Talladega with all the race teams, fans, etc down there with probably little to no protection from a tornado.
TWC Twitter-This same large tornado that is approaching Yazoo City has struck a chemical plant in Omega (north of Tallulah, LA). Injuries, ppl trapped.
I was supposed to head up through that area to Huntsville today. Changed my mind last night. It is too early to tell about things in the Talladega area.
Prayers being said for anyone in harm’s way today.
Prayers for everyone’s safety.
Oh my... I’ve never heard of such a thing happening!
Prayers for all affected in any way...
There is a huge chemical plant in North Yazoo City(I believe it’s north of town). It use to be called Mississippi Chemical..not sure what it is now.
Prayers up for you too onyx. Let us know that you are ok as soon as you can.
OK thanks for the info. That would be a different one from the one I am thinking of in yazoo city.
Chaser on The Weather Channel says the East side of Yazoo City is “Completely Leveled.”
