No..still in Texas. Headed there end of next week or sooner if needed. It really looks horrible onyx. My best friend lives in Yazoo City. She is ok and has been called in to do emergency work. God I feel terrible for folks there. It’s bad.

I would have just expired from a heartache if I had seen a sight like that pic you posted. Unreal!

Thanks for the reply. I feel for Yazoo City. I’ve been in a tornado before and hurricanes. Living in the south near the costal areas is tough. I saw they had two confirmed deaths. I pray they don’t have anymore.

Yeah, I agree. I don't know if my ticker would get me through something like that. Did you say your sister is in Mississippi?

Just talked to Mother in Meridian. All OK now but predictions are for another round tonight? Apparently there was a small tornado that touched down in the area but no significant damage. Brother reminded me they have two basements.
I need to leave soon for several hours. Please post if anyone hears from WKB. I'll check back when I return. Prayers for all involved.

I will ping you for sure, Magnolia. Take care.

My mom and sister live very near there, but it missed their town..than God. My sis just called me and said she and her boyfriend were right outside Yazoo when it happened. I had no idea she was so close. My mom had called me because of my friend that lives in Yazoo, but didn’t realize sis was so close when it hit. She said she could hear it.

Sadly, the death toll will probably get worse through the night as they dig out and find folks. It looks really bad on the pics coming through on the local stations.

Spend about fifteen bucks and a couple of hours reading and get yourself an amateur radio license. Even without cells working, you’ll have communications with locals.

I suppose it's a good thing you and your mom didn't know she was that close. The two of would have been going crazy. What a mess in that town. How did so many escape serious injury? Are there a lot of storm shelters built on properties?

Watching the clip now on Satartia. The poor old man didn’t have insurance on his home but he doesn’t seem concerned. He is probably still in shock.
