WASHINGTON, April 23 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama on Friday warned that without federal immigration reform the door would be open to "misguided efforts" such as a new Arizona law that has raised questions of civil rights. Obama pressed for immigration reform at a White House Rose Garden ceremony in which 24 members of the U.S. military originally from China, Mexico, Ethiopia and other countries became American citizens.

Those willing to risk their lives in the armed forces are horoes and would be excellent voters in the future. No worries. That should pardon quite a few crimes, IMHO.

Misguided effort on immigration is Amnesty Obama- not enforcing laws against illegals! I thought he took an oath to defend this country- that should start at the border.
Immigrants were supposed to come in when we had shortages of labor. Last time I looked we had unemployment (a surplus).
Now they are supposed to come in when we have a shortage of Rat Voters.
I truly despise this communist pofs like no other.
True. This is also a chance to remind blacks why illegal immigration is so disastrous to ther community and low skilled LEGAL americans.
The point is I doubt any of them were illegals. They did it the right way unlike the way the great zero and his buddies in the senate want to do it.

And his support is shrinking. Yesterdays news coverage of the new Arizona law was as expected, Several minutes of coverage showing rowdy opponents screaming racism!, commentators telling us racial profiling would run rabid - and barely a second showing the quiet supporters.
I imagine you are correct. But I respect our armed forces more than most of our laws. FRegards ....
