WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama criticized Arizona's tough immigration bill as irresponsible Friday and said his administration is examining whether it would violate civil rights.
Obama said the federal government must act responsibly to reform national immigration lawor "open the door to irresponsibility by others."
"That includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe," Obama said.

The list, ping
It has to suck for the annointed one. Someone (or in this case a whole state) is defying him. He can’t stand that.
Good!
Good for America, good for the rule of law, good for freedom of speech...bad for the leader of the Regime.
I can live with that. Even better, after he’s voted out.
He’s only worried about losing AZ in his reelection bid.
If this has his panties in a wad.....it’s GREAT!
Buck ewe, Farky!
President Barack Obama said his administration is irresponsible on immigration.
Fixed it.
Man, what a jerk we have for president. Aside from being dangerous and ignorant, he’s a self-loving boob who thinks he’s a genius because he’s been told that all his life. Aside from everything else, it’s just plain depressing that our president is such an utter ass.
And how “misguided” are you Barry Soetoro?
FUBO
NEVER FORGET THAT. IN AMERICAN HISTORY, SUCH A THING IS INCOMPREHENSIBLE.
It bothers the undocumented illegal poser.
I don’t value “fairness” I value equality and equal under the law.
now that Obozo is making “responsibility” the theme of the day, why doesn’t everyone in the country ask him how “responsible” it is for a POTUS to fail to conclusively resolve that simple little matter of his birth docs and constitutional eligibility for his office?
And to hell with the laws right bamster?
“open the door to irresponsibility by others.”
Open the door, Freudian slip?
Every legal Mexican should support this bill by saying that they will gladly show their ID in gratitude for this country and in support of the rule of law.
The only misguided people were the 69 million who voted for that clown.
It's all very simple. if you look at it from the standpoint of making the US again a nation of laws, rather than from the ctandpoint of cheating the laws to fill the voting rolls with new Democrats, whatever that may do to the schools, prisons, hospitals, and unemployment offices across the US.
And FreeRepublic is, as usual, on the subject ahead of the MSM. See second link, below.
Congressman Billybob
More States must be enticed to join with Arizona now. The Bill was signed into law today.
Obama will throw everything Fed he can at this to try to knock it out.
The goal is to import more Democrat voters, and this Bill signed today makes it almost the Impossible Dream at least in Arizona for the Power Hungry Leftists. They have a fight on their hands now.
It’s going to get even uglier.
