What do Glenn Beck, Ron Paul, Michele Bachmann and Joseph Farah have in common?
They're all prominently featured in a new list of 40 "patriots" and "enablers" that a left-leaning group thinks Americans should be concerned about.
In its new report titled, "Meet the Patriots," the Southern Poverty Law Center states: "In the last year and a half, militias and the larger antigovernment 'patriot' movement have exploded, accompanied by the rapid expansion of other sectors of the radical right. This spectacular growth is the result of several factors, including anger over major political, demographic and economic changes in America, along with the popularization of radical ideas and conspiracy theories by ostensibly mainstream politicians and media commentators."
It defines "patriots" as "people who generally believe that the federal government is an evil entity that is engaged in a secret conspiracy to impose martial law, herd those who resist into concentration camps, and force the United States into a socialistic 'New World Order.'"
The report calls Fox News host Glenn Beck "the Ringmaster" of the movement, noting, "With his weepy, chalkboard-scrawling appeals to Americans fearful that their government is leading them down the path to ruin, Glenn Beck has rocketed up the ladder of conservative icons and is using his popularity to directly shape a far-right resurgence."

One of the better laughs I've had tonight. Too bad I don't have a suitable image to match it.
Absolutley true.
Not sure. I asked you...LOL.
With a sentence like that, you must be Dutch. : P
JR, Kristinn, you’re likely on this list too. Statists always hate those who fight for freedom.
As those foot falls get louder, so will the sound of racking slides.
Bring it, Commies!
Or Yoda...
Beautiful sight, that banner is. For posting it, I thank you.
Yoda, is that you?
I'm already keeping one in the chamber.
Word to the wise.
Obama's already done a pretty good job of this.
Yeah, I’m not in much of a mood to crack wise about this stuff either.
Coming from Moron Dees and his SPLC (Socialist Pigs Leaning to Communism), it’s a BADGE OF HONOR!
In Texas, there are several Nation of Islam / Black Separatist entries on the "Hate Groups Map". Of course, they're outnumbered fifteen-to-one by the Klan groups and other white and/or Christian organizations. Not a single *real* Islamic group is listed. Riiiight.
"In the last year and a half, militias and the larger antigovernment 'patriot' movement have exploded, accompanied by the rapid expansion of other sectors of the radical right.
And conflate armed militias with the Tea Partiers. Who is trying to scare the bejezzus out of their members? Oh yeah, also beware the 'other sectors'.
My friends, we are being set up for the 21st century equivalent of the Reichstag fire. I just hope it 'back fires' on them, heh heh.
“Here is what we’re up against.”

I loved your pic of this rehashed “Dude” from the 1960’s. Probably a college prof.
These Statists understand all to well, that we’ll destroy them in a match of common sense and command of facts on the issues! We need to use these facts and common sense in an Alinsky type fashion. We must define them, and put them on the defensive.
What’s driving the Statists insane about the Tea Party movement, is that it really has no defined leader! That’s why Rush has avoided going to a Tea Party in a public way. He knows the left would use him as the poster boy. As usual, Rush is miles ahead of these Libs!
The SPLC has more strawmen than an Iowa farm.
Funny they only have Nazi skin heads on their list. I wonder why they don’t have Calypso Louie or Willie Ayers? http://www.splcenter.org/contact-us
“How do I get on the list?”
Lol..it should be a badge of honor. If the SPLC doesn’t like you, you must be fighting against marxism.
