Pledge for Non Violent Change by the Tea Party USA
Martin Luther King Jr. ^ | STD

Posted on 04/21/2010 10:46:35 AM PDT by STD

In order for our Great Tree of Liberty to continue to flourish while powerful winds of change threaten to tear down our sacred Republic, let us reach back in time to deploy the most powerful weapon we as the American people know.

Let it be resolved that the humble citizen's known as the Tea Party USA solemnly swear to return our freedom's and inalienable right's through strictly non-violent and peaceful protests.

Almighty God, give us the strength to preserve this new breath of freedom not for just the American people, but for all of mankind.

Leftists have branded the TEA Partiers as being racist, bigoted, angry zealots on the cusp of violence. The TEA party protests have been nothing but peaceful, honorable demonstrations against being over taxed. If they are already demonstrably lying about the TEA party movement, why do you think they will stop lying because we take some silly pacifist pledge? Honestly?

“If it becomes clear
that the ballot box of liberty...”

the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, ...the cartridge box...the choices we have.

Al Gore in 2000 brought us to the Jury Box once before...all because of his desire to institute carbon caps and trading.....enslaving our very breathing and living.

I have little doubt we’ll be in the Jury Box after the next “election”...quite possibly over the same nonsense as Cap n’ Trade.....I suspect they’ll be better “prepared” this time however...

They are indeed intent on closing all the boxes of liberty...

ie, “ a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism”

No. Peaceful means have already failed.

People like me are just waiting for the rest of you to realize it as well.

"Several thousand people marched silently"

Several million babies who gave their lives for your principles thank you. Of course.. silently.
