Dick Morris Bombshell: Reno told Clinton she stays or she blows the whistle on Waco
Dick Morris on O'Reilly 10 miniutes ago | April 19, 2010 | Stayfree

Posted on 04/19/2010 6:19:38 PM PDT by Stayfree

During a discussion on O'Reilly about Bill Clinton's recent attempts to compare the Tea Party movement to the impact of conservative talk radio like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, etc. as having caused Timothy McVay to bomb the Oklahomea Federal building, Dick Morris suggested that Bill should zipper it because Clinton had indicated that this is the first time that he has divulged a comment by Bill that he had to renominate Janet Reno for another term as Attorney General or she would go public about Waco.

This was after his reelection. He wanted reno gone because she kept appointing special prosecutors. There was a huge stink about it.

This may be off topic, but. . has anyone or any group done an in depth analysis of the Clinton body count? I'm serious. . has any group, and I assume it would be a monumental effort, done a case by case analysis, a "cold case" if you will, of the whole list of people that died mysteriously that were somehow connected to Bill Clinton? There was Foster, the Mina kids, the Troopers, the Secret Service agents, the many "suicides", the numerous one car accidents and motorcycle accidents, the "heart attacks" and plane crashes. I used to follow this when Clinton was President and the last list I saw was 109. . I quit following it when the potential witnesses started dying too. . Just asking if anyone knows if this has been done.

If "done right" it would have to be a huge team, well financed with many private investigators, investigative reporters, attorneys, subpoenas, "discovery", etc. Would be a heck of an undertaking - no pun intended.

I'm roughly the same age as Clinton and I sure as hell don't know 100 people I've worked with that have "passed away".

How more violent was it to send the FBI and US Army tanks into private property in Waco and set fire to a structure full of men, women and children and kill them all!...McVeigh's attack in Oklahoma City came on the anniversary of the Waco assassinations - it was his way of protesting what the government had done at Waco - Morris's revelation puts the responsiblity for Waco and Oklahoma City right back on Clinton and should make him so ashamed he'll never show his face again - and isn't it strange that the MSM is making such a big deal out of the anniversary of OC, and not a word about Waco.....

Another Waco today might be the equivalent of Lexington & Concord, or Little Big Horn.

The local Sheriff could have brokered a deal and saved a lot of lives.

The local sheriff could have knocked on the door and asked to see the weapons Howell was alleged to have.

Howell would mostly likely have invited him in to see them. And Howell would have probably given them to the sheriff if asked.

This isn't idle speculation: it's what Howell did on at least one previous occasion. The firearms were subsequently returned without incident.

Yikes! In all the Clinton years when I was looking at pictures of her I never noticed one like that before!

There is good docu on Waco titled, “Waco: The Rules of Engagement” if anyone would like to hear testimony from survivors. There is also aerial FLIR of the compound assault. It not safe for children.

It will make you angry though - It’s worse than you may imagine - most of the children were gassed to death - some were found with broken spines because the death spasms were so severe.

The FBI photographer even referred to it as a “murder scene.”

There are many Federal employees (and several members of Congress) who should have gone to the chair for that.

I seem to remember the Sheriff asked Koresh to come by his office as well, and he always complied.

Once the agents were killed, there was no turning back. This should NOT have ended with an inferno.

IIRC, Web Hubble was “in charge” during the Waco fiasco.

I have a bunch you haven’t seen - used to run a political site and I had to make lots of graphics to go with the themes of articles. Now that I figured out how to post images here, I can have fun with my archives.

Once the agents were killed, there was no turning back.

Unfortunately, you are right.

Howell and his followers thought they were under attack. At one point, he even called 911.

A friend of mine followed the whole thing very closely. He believed that the whole thing went south when BATF agents executed dogs that were either attacking them or believed to be dangerous.

Those initial gunshots apparently set off the fire-fight. It isn't clear who over-reacted to the shots first, but I think my friend is right about what triggered it.

Maybe Backhoe kept copies of the articles at the links. The links in the FreeRepublic article above don’t work any more. Makes me wonder why I bother keeping links to old FreeRepublic posts.

Well I'm a woman so the boobs don't appeal to me and Reno's face isn't going to appeal to anyone. Lotsa luck, or maybe some photoshopping, lol.

Seriously, good luck with your image posting.

Waco had Reno and Hillary’s fingerprints all over it.

To bad no one in law enforcement never had the balls to speak out against the military tactics used during this massacre, that resulted in the death of a lot of kids.

It was all totally unnecessary and easily avoidable.

Well there were two distinct Waco attacks about 90 days apart. The first was the Operation Showtime ATF raid. The second, run by the FBI, is the completely unpardonable atrocity that cost the 83 lives.

You do realize that was one event. The BATF started it and the FBI finished it.

For the record, I never defended the actions of clinton. I only stated the koresh was a creep. There are plenty of accounts out there, but here is one:

Kiri, with her father holding her hand, sat before a roomful of congressmen on Capitol Hill, and gave a dramatic account of the activities of the “prophet” and his “new kingdom”.

The teenager said she was five when her mother, who also died in the fire, took her to join Koresh’s sect. He was obsessed with the biblical Apocalypse and sex. “David was planning to lead the group to Israel to re-take Jerusalem. He taught that there would be a big battle between the forces of the world and his people.”

However, this was a cover for abuse. Koresh used a wooden stick to hit the children. “It was called Kelper.”

Kiri said that she slept with Koresh and her mother in one bed. She recalled a childhood friend who, at the age of 14, “has a baby for David”.

There was an uneasy silence in the congressional chamber as Kiri began to talk of her first sexual encounter with the cult leader at a motel in Waco when she was 10.

He asked her to sit beside him on a bed. “He kissed me. I just sat there, but he then laid me down,” she said. After committing a sex act, he instructed her to take a shower and then read from the Bible. Close to tears, Kiri said: “He sat on the bed and read the Song of Solomon.”

Recounting more of her sexual initiation, she said that he used Biblical quotations to explain himself. He told her that, “King David from the Bible would sleep with young virgins to keep him warm.”

She said: “I had known this would happen sometime, so I just laid there and stared at the ceiling. I was 10 when this happened.”
