Agreed on both stances.. Also I don’t buy into Obama’s commercialization of space..

I live on the space coast and it is raining and is expected to be raining at the time of landing here...will be shocked if it does land tomorrow.

Hotel rooms are already going for like $300 a night + for the week of the final launches in May, July, and Sept. I imagine that they will be the equivalent of a lotto ticket come that time.

If they did come down on 9-19-10, that would make STS-131 the longest ever shuttle flight. Also, it would become one of the longest overall flights ever flown

It would also present a problem for the final shuttle program launch scheduled 9-16-10--using the same Discovery shuttle.

i’m really hoping it has to pass on the first landing, the 2nd one gives me a pretty decent shot of seeing fly overhead. As often as I’ve seen the shuttle, I’ve never seen it while coming in for a landing. I got my fingers crossed.
