Pardon my ignorance but what is that date?

Is this scheduled for tomorrow?

Why is it a thread now?

I understand that the shuttle may pass over the Seattle area when they de-orbit for landing... and we might even be able to see them go over from here. Anybody have more info on that?

As of 13:38 today the landing is rain-delayed. They are good until Wednesday but I read they may jut bring it into California (expensive option).

I am trying to plan to see STS-132 launch on May 14 if at all possible.

If they did come down on 9-19-10, that would make STS-131 the longest ever shuttle flight. Also, it would become one of the longest overall flights ever flown. Doubt the consumables presently aboard Discovery would hold out that long.

I am going to miss these shuttles. I think Bush was shortsighted when he canceled the program without a replacement and Obama is shortsighted for not reversing the stand.

>>. I have to convince the Mrs that we have to fly. She hates to fly..<<

Just mention how much the astronauts have to fly!

Or tell her I fly 6,000 miles every week and I am still kickin’
