I hadn’t seen the young Thomas Sowell in his prime before. He knows that blacks benefit when people are judged as individuals, not as groups. I just watched a DVD which showed how a free black American used his wealth to help liberate escaped slaves. If the govt. had confiscated his wealth via taxation, he could not have done that. The Left wants blacks manipulated as a group and made permanent vassals of statism.
