Tried to make it to that one, but was sandwiched in between two meetings. Hope it was a good one down at Towne Point Park!
It is always so profoundly evident that the people that attend Tea Parties are such good, decent, humble, intelligent and very independent people.
In attendance were people of every race and ages from babies to a 93 year old woman I spoke with.
Good people taking the time to speak out in critical times.
I salute you all!
Waiting for the SRM to ridicule “light” turnout at the yesterday’s TP events. Never mind the fact that TP members largely tend to be employed economic wagon-pullers, as opposed to the useless eaters who have nothing going on in their pathetic little lives but to show up at leftie gatherings.
Same with ours here in Pittsburgh. I have a disability and walk with a cane. People were nice enough to let me move in front of them so I could see, or if there was a place to sit, to allow me to sit down. I didn’t ask for either...it was just a natural politeness and inate goodness these folks have. Certaintly not something you would see at, say, a leftist anti-war protest.
And a special salute to Karen Hurd of HRTP: Great job to you and all the people working with you and part of your organization. I’ll figure out to post pics properly this weekend. Can’t remove the darn semi-colon...
