Sarah Palin was in Boston yesterday as the featured speaker during a massive Tea Party rally. Of course, CBS and others try and focus on things like ‘hey, there were mostly white people there’ as if that’s really shocking, considering Obama’s approval among African Americans is over 90%. Despite the state being in economic peril, teachers in New Jersey are refusing to help. All Governor Christie is asking is that they agree to a pay freeze for this year. That’s it - one year. 40% of fed budget is SSI/Medicare. 7%-11% least likely in poll to cut. Highest is cutting veteran benes.

Cut spending: 62%
Raise taxes: 5%

Defense budget (Beck’s sacred cow):
22% favor cutting Defense

Everyone wants to cut foreign aid. 71% of people want to cut it.

HUD needs to go the way of the dinosaurs. It does virtually nothing for housing.

Locally it built an “art colony” for low income “artists”.
