This is the same school district that had a teacher teaching kids to sing songs praising President Obama.

One of the parents quoted in the article said:
“Your son is not instantly going to turn gay if he’s involved in a women’s fashion show” ...

No, they’re only planting seeds right now ~

If they’re going to make boys wear women’s clothing to celebrate Women’s History month, why not have all the kids paint their faces black to celebrate Black History month?

I'm raising a nine year old boy. They know too much at his age these days. In accordance I pull no punches. If he asks a question or if I sense a question I confront it head on. "Yes, gay means two guys. No it is not ok...it is disgusting and don't let anyone tell you it isn't."

That said, I also closely monitor goings on at school and carefully review all his assigned reading. We live in a fairly liberal-voting area but I have to admit that I've not seen any messages slipping into the curriculum. In fact every year there is a project to give things to the Vets at the local hospital.

the EXCUSE comming out now is the BS about some woman’s history month.

HOWEVER the crossdressing event was on the same day as the day of silence homosexual event. IOW you submit to sexual abnomalities or stay home.

I would submit parents sent their children to school wearing red, white, and blue.

Doesn’t it say somewhere in the Bible that males should not dress as females and vice-versa? Maybe people should refuse on religious grounds.

To start with, it appears that the loony school and it’s loony 3rd grade teacher, lacking the ability and intelligence to create a true academic environment, used Women’s History Month as an excuse to have a fashion show (oh wouldn’t it be grand!!!!).

Sneaky attempt to feminize American boys by the feminazis in public schools.

Sometimes I think teachers are teaching to girls, that they have lessons that are designed to appeal to girls and turn off boys. Boys don’t do as well in school, are getting more feminized, and are attending college in smaller and smaller numbers. This type of project doesn’t help. I noticed that a lot of girls were protesting that the project was cancelled because they wanted to wear their dresses that they made.

Sommers’ book “The War Against Boys” talks about this kind of stuff. There is a deliberate movement in education aimed at deprogramming boys because feminists consider maleness evil. I hope the mother in the story — as well as many others with kids in the school — decides to homeschool.

The real issue here is, why the he!! is a school having students and teachers wasting school time on ANY sort of fashion show? This kind of thing may be appropriate as a school-based extracurricular activity for children who want to do something like this (and I’m guessing very few boys would show up for an activity that involved dressing up in women’s clothes), or for a church group, etc. But fashion shows of any sort have no place in a school’s classroom activities.

Giandomenico, a self-described "libertarian," said she had tried to contact her son's teacher about the issue, and claims her concerns were brushed off....
"The school doesn't get it," she said. "I'm not a right-winger. I'm not a radical, but I believe in the Constitution and I believe in my parental rights."
The timing of the fashion show coincided with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network's "Day of Silence," Giandomenico said, and she felt it was no coincidence. She said that she's open to "alternative lifestyles" and has male friends who dress as women,

Oh good grief... there's never gonna be a way to make this whacknut "libertarian" woman happy. If her little "boy" actually wanted to wear a dress, she'd be suing the school district for making him wear pants.

When I was 12 and a Boy Scout, my troop had “Bathing Beauty Night.” We all had to dress-up in one of our mothers’ bathing suits, and, with grapefruit in the bras, trooped out on state in front of all the parents, who voted for “Most Beautiful.” It was plainly innocent then but those days are long gone...

I’m surprised that the boys in this class haven’t been taught castration and how to do it to themselves.
