Special army unit ready to be deployed on American soil (by October)
Conservative Examiner ^ | 4/13/2010 | Anthony G. Martin

In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.

According to the Army Times,

They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack.

The key phrase is 'may be called upon to help with civil unrest.'

This afternoon a local radio talk show host reported that he had been in contact with a member of the military. This military source stated that the armed forces have been alerted to the strong possibility that civil unrest may occur in the United States this summer, prior to the midterm elections of 2010.

Sorry, but I don’t need to join OathKeepers to be a patriot.

They started out as such a great organization, but their current reputation has been FUBARed by their leadership.

Get a copy of: THE ROLE OF FEDERAL MILITARY FORCES IN DOMESTIC DISORDERS, 1945–1992. by Paul J. Scheips

He covers “Kent State” on pages 404-415.

Army Historical Series, CMH Pub 30-20, Cloth; CMH Pub 30-20-1, Paper, 2005; 512 pages, illustrations, maps, bibliography, index

GPO S/N: 008-029-00397-0, Cloth; GPO S/N: 008-029-00400-3, Paper

The Role of Federal Military Forces in Domestic Disorders, 1945-1992, the third of three volumes on the history of Army domestic support operations, continues the story of institutional and other changes that took place in the Army during the post–World War II years. Paul J. Scheips adeptly relies on official records and other contextual supporting materials to chronicle the U.S. Army’s response to major social events in contemporary American society—the civil rights movement, including the integration of Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the University of Mississippi; the racial disturbances of the 1960s, especially the civil unrest in Chicago, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., following Martin Luther King’s assassination; the protest marches during the Vietnam conflict; and the controversies surrounding the Army’s role at Wounded Knee and the race riot in Los Angeles in 1992. Despite occasional lapses, the Army has carried out its civil disturbance duties with moderation and restraint—a testament to the common sense, flexibility, and initiative of highly disciplined soldiers at all levels of command. These hallmarks of a trained and ready force are invaluable not only during domestic civil support but also during the full range of military operations so prevalent in today’s uncertain times.

Firstly, the of this article is unknown to me. Hence, I have no way to evaluate its credibility. However, I note the article was reporting a "radio host" reporting a "military source." The aforementioned makes me suspicious.

Of interest is the fact that deployment is reported for October, just before election. I tend to believe that the Democrats will crush the Republicans this fall. The crushing will come through massive election fraud. A lot of people are counting on a Republican landslide this fall and they will be undestandably enraged by the corruption taking the election. Further, the Democrats will pull a Pelosi and with large grins march arm in arm to the Capitol. This rage may trigger the fighting-which is coming anyway. Troops will fire on their fellow Americans-remember the Civil War!

As a retired NCO/Officer the reports that they would fire or march sharply toward the crowd with fixed bayonets is crap. Today’s officers and enlisted troops are a lot more intelligent and informed as well as closely connected to the general population than what has gone on in the distant past such as Dugout Doug leading troops against the Bonus Army. The time of mindless charges against reinforced positions such as Galipoli are gone because military members at all levels are now volunteers, still connected members of the civilian population and better educated than ever before.

The Zimbardo experiments were just that, isolated experiments that had carefully laid out parameters.

I read ranking military personnel on both sides of these issues.

I throw in the stuff on conformity etc.

Throw in demonic forces.

Throw in a bunch of other stuff I’d rather not get into.

I’m just not near as convinced as you are.

However, I hope you’re right and I’m wrong.

Fortunately, the current administration is not the final authority on this.

Ranking military officers past the rank of Colonel are generally politically appointed, they’re a crapshoot. That does not imply in any way that their orders, if illegal or directed against U.S. citizens, would be followed. You bet, the majority of U.S. troops would fire on citizens in this case either knowing that they might be firing on friends and family or that other units might be firing on their friends and family. This is not the Soviet Army but thank you for your confidence in and support of our troops. </sarcasm>

This is a TWO YEAR OLD story being rehashed and inaccurately reported by a blogger. Look at the date on your story link. It is from 2008.

Everyone is getting their panties in a wad over something that happened in 2008, before the last presidential election. All the stories linked in the blog post are from 2008, none of them are from 2010.

The Examiner is a pay per click blogging site, not a reputable news source.

I’M A FIERCE SUPPORTER OF OUR MILITARY AND AM A VET MYSELF.

SHEESH.

Several years ago hereon, I asked a recently retired NAVY CAPTAIN—full bird—what percentage of the officer corps he estimated were globalists.

He said 30%.

IGNORANCE AND DENIAL ARE NOT PATRIOTIC AND ARE NOT SUPPORTIVE OF OUR TRULY PATRIOTIC MILITARY PERSONNEL.

A multiplicity of sources—a chunk from FREEPERS THEMSELVES—are all over the water front in terms of their assertions. That indicates, to me, that the true situation is more than a little complex and probably fairly unpredictable.

Thanks for your cheekiness.

Thank You, but it is mostly life experience speaking. People have different lives and most of truly want our troops to be noble and thoughtful and be loyal to the people of the country. It will be a tragedy if something happens to that trust.

MUCH, MUCH AGREE.

Shoot, in our county . . . a huge percentage of people are not even loyal to their nuclear families.

This society is a fractured, hurting, disoriented mess.

THX.
